The last 7-8 years I've developed a real love of cooking and along the wat have found and/or developed some really good recipes. I'm going to share one that I am preparing as i write this and the link for it is below. You'll want to cut back on the chicken broth to about a can instead of a quart and cut back on the poblanos and anaheims to 4 each rather than 5 unless you have a monster baking sheet. I accidently discoverd that if you lightly roast the peppers they peel much easier. This is the best chile verde I've ever had. It is labor intensive but well worth it. Enjoy.

Are you trying to make us fat, Tommy Horn? Right now, I have a very svelte figure. I could make a freight train leave the track and take a gravel road to get to me. I could walk down the street and every sailor in town would wolf whistle at me. One bite of that and I'll go from Jessica Rabbit to Oprah Winfrey. Shame on you, Tommy Horn for wanting all of us to be fat. Shame, Shame, Shame!

Actually this is relatively low in calories and carbs. Peppers and tomatillos are loaded with Vitamin C and pork loin trimmed of the fat is fine. And who doesn't like onions and garlic. Try it, you'll like it.

A site that I found searching for recipes turned up this little gem about 6 months ago. Everything I've tried has been excellent:

And no, OVG, I don't want to make you fat.

Well, it sure does sound good, Tommy Horn but I never was much good in the kitchen. There was another room in the house that I really did most of my "cooking" in if you get my drift. My culinary skills wouldn't feed a cockroach. I've worked hard over the years maintaining the looks of a movie star. I'm glad to know your dish is low in calories. Maybe one bite wouldn't make me balloon up to the size of Melissa McCarthy.

She's that humongous girl that plays on the CBS sitcom "Mike and Molly". I've never watched the show but I know of her and I know she is huge.

I pulled up her image on google. She is a quite attractive young woman and, yes, she is definitely a plus size. Her designer is a fellow called Omar the Tent Maker.

That's funny stuff, Tommy Horn. You know, I bet Melissa would be a knockout if she lost about 100 pounds and would probably be just as funny. They say that outside every fat comedian there is a skinny comedian wanting to get in.

True of so many overweight women. Some have faces that are absolutely angelic. As far as her comedy goes I don't have a clue. Never heard of her til you mentioned her name.

But Tommy, you have to have makeup and lipstick no matter if you're fat or skinny. Even this naturally gorgeous face and lips of mine need a little help from time to time. When a man leaves the house, he doesn't give a shit how he looks but a woman has to look her best or she ain't leaving.

Makeup and lipstick when artfully and lightly applied certainly enhance a woman's natural beauty; but when applied with a trowel it looks cheap and tawdry. In this area to me less is more.

Well, only the really ugly women go overboard with the makeup in the effort to disguise how they really look. For a natural beauty like me, a splash here and a dash there and I'm ready to paint the town or go to my job down at the whorehouse.

The one down from the post office between the Gazette and the museum. Just north of Capital One Bank and south of the church. The Perot is just across the alley. In fact, I saw you and Mrs. Horn drive right by us the other day . I waved but I guess you didn't see me.

I've been told that before. But just keep me away from politics. That brings out the worst in me. I think you can attest to that.
