when there is 55 cars behind you its not necessary to wait until you get to the front door to let your child out, they can walk 4-5 car lengths down the pre-concreted walkway to the door by themselves. it would really speed things up.

You make a very good point. Anything to alleviate traffic in that area would help. Too bad that common sense evades most people nowadays.

It wouldnt hurt for 1-2 school staffers to come outside and assist in the process. thats a shame all those tax dollars were paid for that concrete and it never gets used.

Don't worry, it isn't just at Nash that people don't think.

Morris is the same way. Even with Lonnie standing there motioning them to pull forward they have to stop by the cafeteria door to let little Johnny/Jill out so they don't have to walk.

TISD could make a fortune if they would simply enforce the no cell phone zone in the school district, by giving tickets to all the ignorant folks who think their phone conversation is more important than kids safety or greeting/sending off their own child in the drop off/pick up line.

Maybe new nash police chief will look into that, ive certainly seen alot of folks being pulled over in nash for other things. for a little while they were riding around in two's threatening code violations, now im actually seeing lights flashing and cars stopped.

They need to do something over there. I always heard about how badass Nash cops were prior to moving here but it seems they let the goons run wild in the streets.

This is the truth, That ignorance going on at nash happens every morning from 7:35 to 8:00 if they would have a couple of teachers come outside and help escort/assist some of these kids that cluster would not happen every morning. such a simple solution, even hooks elementary does this.

Has anyone thought to bring this to the attention of the superintendent? On more that a few occasions I contacted the superintendent over situations just like this at Wake Village and it was corrected the very next day with a follow up call from the supervisor just to make sure things had been corrected.

FYI, yes folks get discounted cell phones, but this wasn't started by Obama. Lifeline has been in place since the 90's, and not one president or congress has choosen to kill the plan since.

Oops, I was off by just a bit.

Lifeline was started in 1985 under Reagan.

Expanded in 1996 under Clinton.

Then expanded again to include cell phones in 2008 under Bush.

So I guess the correct term for them is ReaClinUsh phones.

Thank these past 3 Presidents and congress for them. Don't just be pissed at Obama for them.

Of course whether they are Lifeline phones or phone people pay for themselves, stay off of them when your driving and especially at the schools.

Every parent wants to see that their child goes through the door safely, and with all the bad people that shoot and kill innocent children at schools, a lot of parents are cautious.I am one who makes sure my child goes through the front door.
