You don't know me or know anything about me. My handle is my business. The God I know doesn't have hate in his heart nor would he condone us running around here with pitchforks after those who are "evil". I swear some folks think that if you don't attend their church and have their exact beliefs that you are going to Hell. You may know a different God than me. That's your right. The Bible is certainly up for interpretation and I will interpret in my way if you don't mind.
You have every right to interpret the bible anyway you see, true. But it goes beyond logic or reason to say witchcraft is not evil. Your generic god is your god, but he is not the God of the bible.

from high-school freshman to Ph.D's, aposte christians insist that general good in all religions points to general truths which make men generally acceptable to a general God, who deals in generalities.........but the God of the bible has one book, one saviour, one faith, one Lord, one baptism and one way to heaven.

warning people of the dangers of witchcraft and the occult is not running around with pitchforks after those who are evil.

I think that honoring Mother Earth or the Universe or God or Allah or WHOEVER you feel in your heart it is right to honor is what you are to do. I do not know this shop or any of these people. As usual, though, everyone freaks out about something that is not directly in line with your Christian beliefs. Was the Earth not made by God? Is there not endless beauty to be found on Earth? Flowers, sea creatures, sunsets, etc. There is a lot of ugly also, but these are people of God as well, lost for this time. Did the terrorists not wage a holy war on us? They go and blow themselves up in the name of their beliefs. What does that say? They believe so strongly in their path that they would die for those beliefs. Are they wrong? Sure they are wrong because they came into our country and destroyed our buildings. To them, they are NOT wrong. Each person has their own path and YOU are not to determine that for them. I grew up in a Baptist church in Texarkana and when I had a brain of my own, I started thinking that what I was being told didn't really follow along with what I felt. I suppose one could say the "Devil" got to me, but I havea kind and good heart and I trust what it tells me. I think a lot of the Christian religion was built on teachings and sermons meant to keep a people in line and afraid of doing or thinking anything of an independent thought. Not all are like this. But those who rant and rave and try to pull the scary devil out to scare everyone are who I am talking about.

And after re-reading this I want to say that the terrorists not only blew up our buildings but our fellow man, and I in no way want to detract from that horrible day by making light of them blowing up just buidings. Just trying to make a point.

"Logically, since all religions contradict each other, there are only two options open. Either they are all false, or there is only one true religion. If there is only one God, there should be only one religion."

Jesus said He was the way, the truth and the life. Also there was no other way to God except through Him. He died proving it to be so. You dont have to believe he died for your sins but in not doing so, will result in your not entering His kingdom upon death. You will be left free to be exposed to the elements of reality which strong testimony concludes its a ferocious reality. the bible calls it hell. to be absent from even the peripheral presence of Almighty God has extremely severe consequences. Only Jesus claimed to be raised from the dead by God the Father; no other "'mother earth spirit" or even Allah can make that claim. There were over 500 witnesses to his reappearance on Earth. No one else has affected history on the face of the earth as the man Jesus who called God his father who split time in half.

Christianity is exclusive, but it is not intolerant. While it seeks to convert others to faith in Christ, it respects the right of all men to choose their own destinies.(however fatal that may be)

As far as the devil goes; he is universal. a person would be hard-pressed to maintain that satan and his demons simply do not exist...... after considering the divine authority of the Bible and the testimony of Christ. can you see thoughts??...yet we know they exist...can you see disease..... pestilience..... viruses...... microscopic insects....... not all...and then only through microscopes.....yet we see their TRACKS.....their important role in the outcome of affairs on our planet......such as harvests and disease levels....... so we cannot ignore the strong posssibility of God & a real devil and demons.....

The image of Satan is transcultural, not limited to cultures that have been exposed to Christian teaching, it seems naive to assume that the basic beliefs of Satanism exist only in reaction to Christian culture.

However, Satan's existence is recognized by every writer of he New Testament. Nineteen of the twenty-seven books of the New Testament mentions Satan by one of his names.

The name of Satan is mentioned in all four of the Gospels.(An example of one reference from each of the 4 Gospels - Matthew 4:10, Mark 1:13, Luke11:18, John 13:27)

The name of Satan is mentioned a total of 29 times in the Gospels.
Satan is mentioned by Jesus 25 times.

Jesus always spoke of Satan as an actual existing person. Jesus also spoke of hell more than heaven for some reason. I think I will believe Jesus before I would you.

Even though I dont adhere to her beliefs...Shes entitled to them...If push comes to shove...Id rather have her as a neighbor than muslims...Put your pitchforks and torches away people..everyone has the right to believe what they want...isnt that in that thing called the constitution somewhere? No one is being forced to go into her store...so if you dont like it dont go there...

Yes, they do have a right to their belief as much as anyone; as the christian has their right to practice what they preach and warn of the harm inflicted upon those who have suffered from "their" participation in such vices. When anyone brings their beliefs onto the free market place, then they are subject to "judgement" from everyone, even the Christians, if not moreso. After all the free market place is what determines society's rise or fall.

But your pitchfork and torches political metaphor is no more accurate than those that hung witches back in Salem were no more christians than the Romans who burned christians were witches. Big difference in todays witches and the "old" witches. Todays witches are as harmless as they come and amount to nothing more than Hollywoods version of Samantha, in real practice. The witches of Salem were real. They poisoned, cast spells, ate flesh, etc. and were a picturesque of what the witches of old really were like; hence the strong condemnation in the bible. They were not "healers". Witchcraft has become more acceptable in todays society, thanks to Hollywood movies and the news media.

But then again, its not so much that the practices of today dont involve poisoning, or casting spells or even outright devil worship; Today, its more what the belief does to the individual than the actual practice, especially if you are predisposed toward that philosophy.

I warn the Christian and no one else: Does it move you farther away from the soul saving message of Jesus Christ?

So, yes "they" or anyone are free to choose their destiny without reprisal from anyone. God gives everyone that ability to choose. However He also warns to choose wisely, for nothing can be more consequential than our souls venture into eternity having made the wrong choice.

As someone who has practiced and participated in occult activities, I highly recommend against any involvement with the "spirits" who wage war against Jesus. Also, the violent rhetoric displayed in occult literature displayed against Christianity should be an adequate warning, if the testimony of Jesus Christ was not enough.
