Lets get this troublemaker off the Texarkana Arkansas city council board. I will not be voting for him again.

I heard that one time he fixed a flat tire on his mama's car so he can't be too bad.

"Rene" apparently you don't know Mr. Laney Harris the way the most of us know him in Texarkana. Mr. Harris is a very intelligent, caring man. He is very aware of the law and when he serves in any capacity, he gives that position respect and loyalty. Mr. Harris is not a "yes man.". If its the law, he will fight for the citizens of Texarkana, and if that law is not fair, he will petition the lawmakers to make a change if it's for the better of the community. YOU may be the problem--not him.

"Rene"n If you thought you were voting for a "yes man" well you better find someone to pay for what you want the next time---it's not Mr. Harris. He can't be bought. It's all about what is right with him.

I don't think the poor boy can read or write. I'm sorry for him... but I'm even more sorry for the good people of Texarkana, Arkansas who seem to have difficulty finding qualified folk to run for elective office--or electing them when they do.

That said, it certainly makes for entertaining TV when the Arkansas-side Council meetings are aired.

At least you could be specific concerning your statement. By trouble maker you mean__________ Please fill in the blank so all of us may know what you are speaking about. This general slam does nothing good, it is only slanderous. Shame on you. If you have something to say, then say it! Don't hide behind a generic comment like you have done here.

Are you asking from the Tootles of Texarkana?

Of course it's not, you idiot. Literacy Council is no more my name than Tootles is yours.

Does the warden know you are using the computer?

I am making an official statement fot the Illiteracy Council of Greater Texarkana.

We thank Mr. Harris for his latest membership subscription. We tried to call him to convey our thanks, but couldn't get an answer. As you'll understand, we find sending letters of appreciation a futile measure for our members. If any of you good folk happen to speak with him, please inform him that we are grateful for his contribution.
