Injustice in Bowie County

First, I would like to thank Wounded for letting me knowing about this website. I have lots of concerns regarding our great county. I do believe we need some changes asap. Our justice systems seems to work for the criminal more then it does for the victim. As for Lockhart, he is not the man for the job. Wounded has talked about a man name Mike. This man has committed several crimes most being misdemeanors. However, he seems to get out of most of them due to Lockhart and others. This battle started several years ago. Mike has harrassed his ex-wife since their divorce. The ex wife has had protective orders against him which he has broken several times and never been reprimanded for. I have seen Lockhart pat this man on the back in court in front of the victim telling him everything will be okay and had Mike leave the court. What do you think that did to the victim? She was revictimized by the justice system. Mike has placed this woman and her children in danger on several occasion. For instance, he was chasing his ex wife without knowledge of his children being in the car. He ran his ex wife off the road causing several thousand of dollars of damage to her car. Did BC doing anything? NO! She was left to fin for herself. Another incident, Mike refused to take his children back to his ex wife after a standard visit. BC did nothing. Once during an exchange of the children, Mike threatened to kill his ex wife and her boyfriend and told them he would blow her car up with them in it. When she called BC to report this threat, who did they send. Mike's relative, Stacey. Is this not a conflict of interest? Should an officer be allowed to respond to a call that involves an family memeber? I dont' think so. It's obvious BC is screwed up. I have no faith in our system whatsoever. This woman has been revictimized several times by our Justice system including the DA's office as well as the S.O. In regards to the criminal tresspassing, Mike did have a jury trial and was found not guilty on a technicanality. However, he was arrested and spent two weeks in jail and was on house arrest until the trial was set. Such satisifaction!! Hoever he still has phone harrassment charges pending which will make the second or third time he has appeared before a judge for the same reason. When is it enough before the County will do something about this out of control man? This woman lives in constant fear of her ex. Even her children fear this man who is their father. Last July he kidnapped his children from a 15 yr old babysitter and had his children lie for him. Which the truth came out thanks to Officer Huggins. This is when Mike was arrested for criminal tresspassing. The criminal tresspassing was put against Mike in Feb. of 04 due to his inability to control his anger. He would come unto the property when his ex wife was there and let the air out of her tires or go through her things in the car while she was at the property.

As for the Agg. Assault with a deadly weapon. It has been over a year and Mike has not even been indicted. What is taking so long? There has been similar shooting since and both have been indicted and one was convicted. Now, tell me why he hasn't been indicted. I believe Lockhart is draggin his feet on this one. There must be some kind of connection between Lockhart and Mike. Mike has told several different versions of the shooting incident. The story changes every time he tells it. Even in court. He pretty much convicted himself in family court regarding the Agg. Assault but he still has not been in front of a judge. To correct Wounded, the victim of the shooting was not shot in the back. He was shot through his car door in the leg while trying to leaving. Now, is this self defense? I don't think so. If the DA called Mike's daughter to testify, he would be convicted. She tells the same story as the shooting victims girlfriend (or wife not sure what she is to the victim) The victim has ungone several surgeries and requires more. He will never be the same again. Yet Mike still is allowed to be out in society as a law abiding person. He is so not a law abiding person. He does nothing to contribute to our society. He is a worthless man who seems to get away with anything he does just b/c he knows someone. Does Mike pay taxes? No he doesn't b/c he can not keep a job for one reason or another. He doesn't even pay county taxes b/c he is such a loser he does not own anything. Why does our justice system support the wrong doings of this man?

I know of another man who has been arrested over 40 times for assault but yet our great DA did not charge this man with any of his crimes. It took this man committing a crime in the city limits of New Boston before he was actually charged with his crime. What is wrong with Bowie County's justice system. Does these criminals have something on our great DA? Obviously something is going on. I thought the Justice system was for the victims not the criminals. We as citizens of the county need to change the officals in office, including our Sheriff. I use to really like Prince. However, after the last several years I have lost all respect for this man. He has been notified about what was going on and he chose not to doing anything about it. All BC has done is revictimized this woman on several occasions. Fellow BC citizens, lets make a change!!

That is what we the people get for thinking.
We the people don't know until it is far too late that the justice system does not work properly as we wish, it is selected.

DA's are only selecting "WHO" and what friend or connected individual WILL get that justice.
They are not God's. They are people paid to work.
Just as injury to the public records that is constantly going on in this county and the county of cAss of which I have proved many times.
Wake Village is just the latest of the corrupt.

People think it is wrong to write hot check's.
It said plainly on the death certificate of my son that Tilman Pyle falsified the "law" he broke and the penalty he could receive.

He was protected by a criminal District attorney by the name of RANDY LEE ex-DA of cAss county.

From the arm pit of Texas and it's corruption to the public defender's office in our BOWIE county.
Get out of Bowie count Lee you don't belong.

All we can do is hope he will be the next Danial siler. Another buddy attorney Lockheart could have prosecuted and chose not. Humm!

Has the victim tried to go to the State AG office and file a complaint? If you know her pass this on to her and have her file the complaint. This might get something done at least it is worth a try.

The reason that he was found not guilty on the "technicality" is because it was admitted by the victim in open court that she had in fact allowed the person back on her property, voluntarily, prior to the incident in which he was arrested, indicating that she had violated her own banning notice and very likely the protective order as well.
When you have someone banned from your property, or you get a protective order against someone, you can violate it just as easily as they can, which would make it pretty much null and void.
I'm not taking up for the guy, he is, no doubt, a problem and needs to be dealt with in court accordingly, but the victim has to abide by the notices and orders for them to be valid, you can't just do it selectivly.

The DA's use each and every thing they want to do (selectivly)! For who they know and who they blow.
The person with the protive order isn't even the parent. They are only the people that are trying to help keep the children and him and the mother from having contact.

He is a danger to the comunity just as Sam Rich is.

Explain why he was not locked up for disturbing the peace at the court house. When he used the language in frount of SO! many on looking eyes.

Why did the people have to have a police escort to leave the court?
Lockheart is the problem here. He and the Bowie county officer who is kin. Stacy has no reason being involved or even showing up at a call that is involving this man.
It is a direct conflict of interest.

Now is where I draw the line with Sheriff Prince.
Hey, do it right man.
Stacy needs to keep his AZZ out of this one.

The reason the person with the criminal trespassing order allowed him on the property was for the safety of the ex wife and her children. The ex wife tried to exchange the children in a public place but that did not seem to stop the threats. During one exchange while holding his young son, Mike told his ex wife that he would beat the f**kn sh*t out of her. When she picked up her phone to call 911 he reached in the car and tried to take her phone from her. There was no other safe place to exchange the children at that time. They tried using Kids Exchange but Mike refused to take the parenting class necessary to use their services. The ex wife has gone out of her way to stop this man from causing problems but nothing seemed to help. You tell me why he wasn't arrested when he threatened to kill the ex wife and her boyfriend.

By the way, the ex wife is the one who had the protective order and she did nothing to violate that order. Mike is the one who did the violating of the protective order yet nothing was done to him. Isn't that screwed up?

If I ban you from my property, and later allow you back on my property, for whatever reason, then I have violated the very banning notice that I placed on you, which makes it null and void at that point. That's why he was found not guilty. And as for the other incident you referred to, I can't and won't comment on it because I have no knowledge of it.

It should never get to that point. You would think our GREAT Justice system would want to stop this before anything like that happened. I know for a fact that if something like that happened the ex wife's family would sue BC for all they had. The family is so sick of the sh*t. It should never get to that point. I know for a fact that if something like that happens the famlily will sue BC for everything they have. The family has contacted Prince on different occasion and expressed their concerns but nothing was still done to Mike. The family pressed phone harassment charges against Mike which I believe he received probation. So when he committed the felony he broke probation. And when he was arrested for the tresspassing is was out on bond for the felony. I thought if you were rearrested while on bond that your bond would be revoked. Why is Mike still allowed to roam our streets?

I really can't offer any advise and I'm certainly not defending the actions of the court that found him not guilty. The only thing that I would remind you of, is that BCSO did in fact do something about the criminal trespass, they arrested him which is why he wound up in court. I'm not defending them either, just pointing out that they did take action against him.
Also, when they showed up in family court and during the custody hearing, when Mike got on his soap box, Judge Addison listened to him for a few minutes and then promptly cut him off, suspended his visitation, ordered a mental evaluation and revoked his bond on a previous charge at which time the Deputies that were present in the courtroom took him in to custody.
Like I said, I'm not defending the actions any court or of law enforcement, but action was taken against him that day by the court and BCSO. I don't know what the final outcome of all of that was, but I know for a fact that all of that happened. It looks like some people are trying to help, but as I've said before, it may suck sometimes, but it's the system that we have to live with and I sincerely hope that in the end, it all works out for his ex wife.

Your complaint is that Bowie County S.O. does nothing, but you also say that they pressed charges against him for phone harrassment and he was put on probation, which means that the Sheriff's Department had to have arrested him. Again, your complaint should be with the courts that are handeling him. The Sheriff's Office has nothing to do with the outcome in court.

He is out on the street jim dandy so he can kill a DPS officer or a Bowie county deputy.

May even end up being his kin Stacy. Crazy people do not reckonize their kin.

Again, you point out that he was arrested when the family pressed charges for phone harrassment, and he was arrested for the criminal trespass as well as the Aggravated Assault.
I can't answer why he's still allowed to roam the streets, but that's three cases where the Sheriff's Office has done their job and arrested the turd.
I see your point, and agree with you that he shouldn't be walking the streets, but your complaints look like they should be with the court system and not law enforcement. All they can do is lock him up and the rest is up to the courts.
As I said, Mike's ex wife has done very well for herself and I hope that the final outcome is in her favor.

Actually, their complaint is not just as you point out. If you look at the above posts, they only mention Stacy going out on one call and that was during an exchange of the children. The rest of their complaints, most of which are valid complaints and concerns, are with the DA, the court and the Bowie County Sheriff's Office. I am merely pointing out that the Sheriff's Office is in fact putting this person in jail on various charges.
