Hello! New here. Wondering if you all ever talk about things besides politics? Also wondering where the best burger in Texarkana is found? Thanks!

I would have to agree about the Roadrunner. Don't make the mistake of ordering a double. I did and it was huge. TLC burgers and fries on broad street is not bad.

Thanks! I actually had one from the Roadrunner today and it was really the best yet!

I usually go to TLC - good burgers, but really more for the fries and Red River Sand.

Two worth trying: Zapata's and Roo's. Double E's were good but I'm not sure if that one's still open.
This could become an open warfare site it we insist on determining the "best".

Transplant, from what I have been reading I am not so sure it isn't already! LOL!

Thanks for the info. I have eaten the Mexican food at Zapata's but have not tried a burger there. Good to know there are many great places to enjoy one of my favorite foods.

WELL, You can thank me for those good burgers your getting from Roadrunner.I Started that program Back in 2000 when the store went from Donny's Citigo to TAC 1. A deli that went from 250.00 a day to 1600.00-1800.00 a day. I left in 2003 due to working with a puferted smart mouth supervisor. (DW).I'm sure they are making more money since 2003.

I haven't been to Roadrunner. I love the burgers at Old Tyme Burger Shoppe, located at Arkansas Boulevard and 2nd location on Redwater Road in Wake Village.

First thing you've got to have for a burger is the meat, and they grind theirs fresh daily.

If you were saying best in Texas, there's a chain in San Antonio called EZ's Brick Oven that has marvelous burgers and pizza.

Old Tyme in Wake Village turns out a very good burger. Onion rings are A+. However, the best burger in town comes from my grill. ;-)

Has anyone mentioned Ironwood Grill or Brickhouse? They could be a contender.

So is that an invitation?

Where do you live again? I'll bring the napkins.

Dixie Diner makes a real good hamburger. Open face and put what you want on it. Not the one on State Line. They have changed it up, and I haven`t tried them since it changed.

Wonder where George Lavender thinks the best burger is?

Whatever he says, you might want to ask him if he's being paid for his vote.

I hear that the ultra-conservatives who supported George Lavender are learning to eat crow.

Imagine that.

Yeah, the best burger in Texarkana is over at the clubhouse at Smokey Joe's in Nash.

I hear there's a lot of crow burgers being eaten there since Lavender has been outed!
