Bravo, Homeowner !! Maybe the street punks will think twice if we hear of more folks defending their property and their lives. Of course Obama, his followers and the MSM want to take that ability away; denials to the contrary notwithstanding.

Yep, if they think they are going to be shot, a job might look better than burglary or robbery as a career.

One thing I wish our law abiding firearms owners would do is GET TRAINING and PRACTICE with your weapons(s). A lady in a store I do business with said that her CHL instructor told her that way too many folks are getting CHLs with meager or non-existent experience with handguns. As I recall you are a CHL instructor has this been your experience? With the proper training AND practice instead of the perps checking in at the ER they would be checking in at the morgue.

Tom, I agree.

One of the last things I do during our classes is show them this video, and tell them that the piece of plastic should probably be their first step as far as far as CHL goes.

Like most anything that happens after 8 PM, the Dumb-Zette will likely have it in Tuesdays paper. But I did hear of this on the news in passing Monday evening.

The crime was at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, did you expect it to be in Monday's paper?

That was indeed after press time but the Gazette does have a "breaking news" email alert to those who sign up for it. I'm signed up. Never got an alert.

The good news is the perp is off the streets. Could have ended this way:
