According to my courthouse friend, he failed to serve the proper notice of hearings to the attorney as required by law, therefore, preventing the attorney from receiving statutory due process. This could turn into a big deal.

It is also my understanding that he has been advised of this, and similar practices, on numerous occassions.

Is it incompetence at a fundemental level OR thinking one is above the law?

I hear NN is coming back to testify against Lacy in one, maybe two of the upcoming suits, with evidence. I wonder if this is what people keep talking about for August? I guess turnabout is fair play!

NN sent him multiple request to give proper notices, with references to AG opinions. If she testifies and provides copies of such, then you are right, he is toast. Since the lawsuit apparently is about giving proper notice, and she proves that he was informed of such, he can not say he didn't know, which means he willfully violated regulations, thus, misconduct and abuse of office...punishable by removal from office.

Jerry Rochelle is already privy to this, I promise you. And do you think NN will pass this opportunity to return a favor? ROFL

Thanks. I looked up the AG manual on open meetings. The penalties, civil and criminal, for violations can be found on pages 56-62. The charlatan needs to be put in his place.

Meathead, you are correct. The notices that Natalie Nichols gave regarding probate and or mental case hearings are PART of what I was speaking of. It shows that, on multiple levels, that he was informed of the various times he is supposed to give notice to all party's on hearings, dates, changes, etc. I am not sure if the notices were regarding probate or mental case hearings, and I am not sure which one of those the lawsuit is supposed to be in reference to. However, if Natalie testify's and provides documentation that he was made aware, Lacy is in a lot of HOT WATER. We are talking about people rights and proper representation here. It's constitutional.

If Davis has not contacted Nichols, it would be a bone headed move not to.

How ironic that would be now that Natalie comes in and testifies that she informed him how to do it according to law, he refused to do it according to the law Natalie provided, and because he didn't listen to her, he is sued and removed from office.

What a fitting way to put an end to the Jeff Akin Cult.

Anyone know she moved to anyway?

If you RINOs wouldn't attempt to drum up BS about Lacy to try to get your buddy Marion back in office, he wouldn't have cost the county anything.
Just the facts, RINO!!
Didn't they do this to the former Republican Chair? Wasn't his name Mark Grave or Graves? Not sure
But every time you turn around the rino's was taking him to court.
Wouldn't you think the big money people of Bowie Cty are getting tired of this? I closed my pocket book when Hall switched to republican. What a waste
