Jeff has stated on Topix that Stephen Frost has voted against pro-life or for pro-death (as Jeff states it).

My question is this: SHOW ME THE EXACT VOTES IN THE LEGISLATURE, THAT YOU JEFF WOULD HAVE VOTED DIFFERENTLY CONCERNING LIFE. As a broadcast journalist this should be easy for you. No generalizations please, not opinions from different groups, JUST THE EXACT VOTES.

Until you answer this you have lost credibility.

You want to talk credibility?(this isn't going away)
From KXAM in Austin, TX

Bent on increasing its party’s majority in the Texas House, a group called Conservative Republicans of Texas is waging war against 18 incumbent Democrats this campaign season. The latest target for battle – Rep. Stephen Frost, D-New Boston.

Amid the race for what could be his fourth term in the House, Frost filed a motion to seal the divorce records of an Austin lobbyist and her ex-husband late last month, a case for which the East Texas Democrat was deposed in February during the proceedings. On Friday in the Travis County Courthouse, 98th District Court Judge Rhonda Hurley sealed those records, meaning everything filed in the case will now be hidden from the public.

The lobbyist and her ex-husband previously signed an “Agreed Confidentiality Order,” which made Frost’s deposition and all related items confidential. However, portions of Frost’s deposition were read and recorded in open court during the trial. Frost contends other people not related to the case were “attempting to obtain” a copy of the court reporter’s record of what was said in trial.

During Friday’s hearing, the attorney for the lobbyist accused her ex-husband of leaking the information. But the ex-husband’s lawyer flatly denied it and so did the group seeking access to the trial transcript.

Conservative Republicans of Texas Political Director Allen Blakemore said he learned of Frost’s deposition when doing a background check on the lawmaker.

“No, the husband has never talked to us,” Blakemore said.“Some of this stuff is done through pure public records checks or done through conversations with people.”

Saying the group found it “odd that a third party would try to get a seal on divorce documents,” Blakemore alleged Frost’s relationship with the lobbyist might have led to further implications regarding his role as a lawmaker.

The lobbyist’s ex-husband filed for the divorce in January 2009 on the basis of adultery, according to court records.

“We began dating in February 2009, which was after they had separated,” said Frost, who added that his relationship with the lobbyist was brief and that they are no longer dating.“She had moved out of the house, and divorce papers had been filed.”
Frost contends the move to keep the documents from the public is not a political matter, but a personal one.

The simple question I asked Jeff still has not been answered by Jeff. TELL ME THE EXACT PRO-LIFE ISSUE YOU WOULD HAVE VOTED DIFFERENTLY THAN FROST!

I am not going to be pulled away from this question by anyone? As a Pro-Life pastor you (Jeff)should be able to quote the bills Frost voted wrong as quickly as you quote Chapter and Verse in the Bible.

By the way I am a Pro-Life Christian.

It was widely reported in the last legislative session that over 10,000 bills had be filed. Go figure, Harold.

The same lame bullshit - over and over and over.

This bunch of pious Bible-thumping hypocrites can only recite their rehearsed mantra of half-truths, speculations, rumors, and outright lies.

good for you, while your obsession with someone who is not elected, we will focus on the elected people.

Hey Frost, how is your credibilty now that you have been able to seal public records showing your relationship with a planned parent hood lobbyist.

Did constituents really drive all the way down from this district, coincidentally during the 118 times you missed votes on the house floor, or did you actually just neglect us during those votes?

We are not going to be pulled away from these isses and will contiune to address them.

I do find it interesting that my creditability is under fire when I am NOT the one who hooked up with a Planned Parenthood lobbyist and then petitioned the court to cover it up. I am also NOT the one who is lying about an opponent in the HD 1 race. I am also NOT the one who is running from the party that I am a part of in Texas.
Just saying...

Jeff, That is not the question I asked your: TELL ME THE EXACT PRO-LIFE ISSUES YOU WOULD HAVE VOTED DIFFERENTLY THAN FROST.

As you say, you are bringing the message. There can be no better source than the actual bills Frost voted for or against on pro-life. All I am asking you to do is tell me the one's that he voted wrong.

hey ss, why don't you tell us why it is okay for Stephen frost to seal public records so he cam hide his relationship with a planned parenthood lobbyist?

Hey SS, why don't you tell why it is okay that Stephen Frost place ads that falsely claim the Lavender will raise taxes 14 cents when he has absolutely no proof and lavender signed a pledge against it?

Hey SS, why don't you explain to us why frost pulled his motion that would have killed the Marvin/Nichols deal right in it's tracks?

Hey SS, why don't you explain to us why you are acting like a COWARD, hiding behind an alias while attacking a person who is using their real name?

It's easy to attack a person from behind when you hide in the shadows!

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – State Representative Stephen Frost (D-Texarkana) will petition the court Friday, September 17th at 8:30am in Travis County, to seal certain transcripts & documents concerning his relationship with a registered lobbyist. These documents are currently public but have been withheld pending this hearing.
The Friday September 17th, 8:30am hearing will be in the Travis County Courtroom of Judge Orlinda Naranjo, 419th District Court.

“We have noticed that State Representative Stephen Frost’s voting record in the last two years has taken a hard turn to the left,” said Allen Blakemore, a spokesman for Conservative Republicans of Texas.

“We believe these public records could shed light on a possible cause of that shift as well as upon other legally pertinent issues, including the accuracy of sworn lobby and campaign finance reports, and whether conflict of interest issues have occurred.

“It is in the public’s interest for these documents to remain open and available,” Blakemore said.

“Conservative Republicans of Texas opposes Stephen Frost’s legal action,” said Blakemore,“We feel the public has a strong interest in knowing if Stephen Frost’s votes have been influenced by this relationship with a lobbyist.”

“Finally, we have a great deal of concern that Representative Frost could now be trying to abuse his position in order to influence the withdrawal of public documents from public view,” said Blakemore.

“It is highly unlikely that ordinary citizens could cause evidence of possible wrongdoing to be pulled from the public arena. A public official should live up to a higher level of transparency, not use his position to cover up public information,” Blakemore said.

Exhibits that Representative Frost is attempting to seal include, an hour and a half of deposition testimony from February 11, 2010, text messages between the State Representative and lobbyist, and email.....

he has enough integrity to state his name behind his claim. Are you and SS willing to do the same?

I admit that I am not. But i am not the one obsessed.

When allegations are made that obviously can't be supported, doing so using your actual name is certainly nothing to brag about.

I agree, which is probably a good reason why takebackyourpower and SS don't use their real names.
