Mississippi was the last state to abolish slavery in the year 1995. They still have the mentality of owning them.
Just who are THEY? I am a Mississippian and I have no feelings of owning anyone. I guess some have a since of superiority in lumping others together. I disagree with the decision of the church in quesstion but I would fight for their right to make it. God gives us the right to be wrong. He also allows us to repent. Geez, another uptight ignorant redneck. Nice spinning attempt, Billy Bob, but you still fail.
My comment was factual. The facts are simple, Mississippi abolished slavery less than 20 years ago. Many people are still alive within that era which means the mindset is most likely playing a role. Got it?
Fact two...everyone who replies within forums is opining opinions or facts. Factual comments, such as mine, simply provide info to you ignorant fools. No reply is required with exception to the uptight crowd you play within. An opinion usually warrants a reply of rebuttal or correction to the opinion.
Overall, ALL comments and replies risk continuous replies/rebuttals for the simple reason of bruised ego from the likes of you and your redneck counterpart.
Regardless whether your counterpart is correct or not about racism, the comment I stated is a fact and direct within it's meaning. Your inability to understand that and the emotional connotation from your counterpart based on that fact hitting close to his home doesn't negate the truth.
Now run along and tend to your crop.
Nice hateful post full of stereotypes. You would make a great preacher yourself.

I've been reading to much stuff......and now it's being reported in the UK. Good weekend to leave town and go hang out in a very liberal southern community.

Whites are the ones being discriminated against. Whites can not stand up for their race at all for fear of being called racist. Which nowadays is a felony. We have organizations such as NAACP for black progression.
God forbid there was ever an organization called NAAWP.
That would be "RACIST".

It would be racist and never even get off the ground. Why/How is there such bias against the white. We cannot stand up all for race.

Since whites still are the majority, a special fund is not really required. You can always find a way to help white kids go to school.

It has gotten to an extreme though where whites must parse every word and sentence. Common dictionary words are now off limit as they can be misunderstood or mischaracterized as racist because of ignorance and spite in the black community. Even when every effort is made to be sensitive to any supposed infraction, something will be manufactured to be claimed as racist.

It's not self righteous when you're right. LMFAO!
Move along Bobby Sue
But you're NOT right! You're nothing more than a hater and a troll who gets off on trying to intimidate people online. Maybe you should get out of your mama's basement more often and breathe some fresh air.

There are plenty of negro churches around Utica. The couple should have gone to one of those. Dosn't the Mississippi state consitituion forbid such marriages anyway?

My birth town where my family still live has not changed in 40 years. They just abolished slavery in February 2013. What a shame!
