Just found out they refused to let him post bond. This time there going to keep him until his trial and he will probably get prison time. It's a shame because he is a good man with a good heart. He was a very good Vet. My Blood Hound had Parvo and he saved her. God Bless him and I hope he recovers from the drugs.
I called Kaufman County jail to see if there was a chance of my being able to visit David. I was told he had already been released. That was August 1st.

It's a shame when people get on drugs. Drugs will destroy anyone once they get addicted. We all make choices in life and he made the wrong ones. This is a prime example of "Just say no".

Arrested again in Van Zandt county. Car theft, Grand larceny and more. Will he ever go to trial.

This is proof that the devil created lawyers!

I've been using him for years and think he is a great vet.
Really.... TERRELL — Days before the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners planned to take a rare action and revoke his veterinary license, Dr. David J. Snyder voluntarily surrendered it, according to Nicole Oria, the board's executive director.
Complaints began piling up against the veterinarian after News 8 reports began last fall.
Former clients raised questions about how their dogs died causing the board to take emergency action and temporarily suspend Snyder's license in January.

Well he got 44 years in prison. Considering he is 55 years old now, he will be 99 years old when he gets out if he lives that long.

What is the basis of your letter? Just curious, is this a love letter? Or hate letter? You obviously don't have to answer this but it is probably a good read if its a hate letter.

Carol,

He is still in Kaufman County at this time. I hope you are writing him to lift him up and not to knock him down.
It never ceases to amaze me that people enjoy the pain and devastation of another persons life. All of those who have hateful, mean, and nasty things to say remember this..... No addict wakes up and says "Hey! I think I'll screw up my life completely."
Be careful when you're pointing that finger at David. Be mindful of the three that are pointing back at you.

Thanks for the info Terrie. David was always very kind to us and we consider him a friend. I will definitely be writing just to let him know that he's not forgotten. Prisoner support is very important and I hope others will also find the time to send him a note.

He was sentenced, January 2nd, to two 22 years terms and two 2 year terms all to be served at the same time. This smakes him eligiable for parole in 11 years. WFAA was at the sentencing but they did no get the sentencing information correct. I hope at least one person for every animal he killed through neglect and abuse and one person for everyone he lied to writes him a letter. He was everyones' friend when he was talking to them.

Wasn't she the office help? She was real nasty toward me. We boarded our 2 dogs and when I came to get them 2 days later they acted all solemn and told me thy were SO sorry but Our chihuahua had bolted out of her kennel and ran off and disappeared. But they still charged me for the boarding of BOTH dogs. Jackasses. Glad he got his comeuppance.

Lady at front desk was always hateful to me,as she took my money. I found a new vet a few years ago. I'm so happy I stopped going there.
