Recently, a family member of mine was incarsarated in the vigo county jail.
Although the jail itself was filthy, and the living conditions where that of a Mexican prison, I have to say the the staff treated my family member better than I would have expected, and dare I say even better than they really had to.
The family member I speak of has underlined medical conditions, which where addressed promptly after being notified of the fact.
These people have a hard job, and some of the folks they deal with are just plain old nasty, so I could understand them NOT being so considerate to inmates.
But, from the bottom of my heart, I thank them for taking care of what needed to be taken care of, and pray for thier safety!
