Is this the same Jeremy Byerly that attended the old Sara Scott Jr. high in the mid 90's and has an older brother in the Marine Corpes Reserve?

CLARK COUNTY, IL.(WTHI)- A Terre Haute man is dead after a four vehicle accident on Interstate 70.

The accident happened Tuesday morning around 2:15 CT.

Illinois State Police say 26-year-old Jeremy Byerly of Terre Haute Ind. was driving his car the wrong way in the east bound lanes of I-70.

Byerly struck two semis and then collided head on with a Toyota Corolla about seven miles east of Marshall, Ill.

Byerly was trapped inside his car.

Emergency responders pronounced Byerly dead at the scene.

Three others were sent to Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

I just assumed this is the 26 year old Jeremy Byerly from the Clay County area. I know the news said Terre Haute resident. I just assumed he had recently moved here.

He very well might be from Clay county... I'm not sure. I would like to know though. I went to school with a Jeremy Byerly, and knew him and his brother real well.

It IS Dustins younger brother, and yes, he did attend Sarah Scott.

No one still knows where he was going....and not sure he really knew. He was dating Mindie Joy that went to Sarah Scott too and he was never engaged.

Clark County, Ill. Alcohol was a factor in a fatal accident early this morning that claimed the life of a Terre Haute man who drove the wrong way on I-70, according to Illinois State Police.

Jeremy Byerley, 26, of Terre Haute, was killed in the crash, according to Jeff Pearce, Clark County coroner. Byerley was legally intoxicated, the coroner said.
