City Cops,County Cops,State Cops,DNR,...Too many assistants,..Too Much Nepotism ! TOO Many People on the Payroll ,PERIOD,
Also,...Window Air conditioners in the Court House!
How Many Court Houses in Indiana have Window Air conditioners ?How Much is the Electric Bill per month ?
Chilling units came in Long ago !
Oh, I forgot,.This is Sullivan County !

There is a lot of waste. Some of those offices we need, but others are created to help certain individuals. Why does the county need more office space, yet Bill Mayfield and his wife have a PRIVATE BUSINESS on the 2 nd floor of the courthouse? More to continue!!

If we could get rid of all the thieves, crank heads and deadbeats we would only need one judge and have court one day a year. The real question is: Why does a county the size of Sullivan have so many thieves, crank heads and deadbeats?

That's 40 years and 1 hour. Don't forget day light savings time.

I agree about the redundancy, to an extent.
We don't need county commissioners. We elect a council who has to handle and approve all expenditures. Give them the the additional responsibilities of the board of commissioners. This would take an extra 10 or 20 minutes for each meeting. Then, appoint a single, full time, county manager to handle day to day operations. If the manager don't cut the mustard, we, the voters, demand that the council fire the joker instead of having to wait out the elected term and hope the herd can vote in a "group" that can handle the job instead of pulling in several directions at one time.
