I think what your saying is a bunch of sh!t, you must not be a parent or you would look at this from several different ways. First of all did it ever dawn on you that the parents were upset bc of all the people there that didn't need to be.( like you and I'm sure others were) or maybe bc they never found a body as of yet, maybe they never lost hope that he was alive, and finding his car was about crush all hope that they may have had... How about being pissed that it took 5 yrs to find their son, when all along he was right here in Terre haute. If you are a parent how would you feel if you found out your child has been in the river (that I'm sure they drove over alot)for 5 yrs. seems to me like a smack in the face when you have parents begging the PD to keep looking for their son, and out of no where 5 yrs later he was in the river of the same town he went missing in.
So I really think they had every right in the world to look and feel how ever they wanted to, when they were pulling their son out of a river that he had been in for 5 yrs!!!!!!!!!!
First of all RIP Scott!!! Ok I was one of the people there when the car was pulled out of the water!! First of all, my buddy operated the crane to pull it out, I was there and saw the faces of Scott's parents! They were disgusted, like they were mad at all of these people for finding their son!! I will never get their facial expression out of my head. As the car came out of the water, of course little by little to preserve it, they knew it was his car! They almost acted pissed that the people found the him and now his parents have no reason to be on T.V. or be interviewed about their son's dissaperiance. The tip came from State Police in Evansville post. A guy was squealing about Javins car and where it was. He knew right where it was, and then the state police was notified up in TH. Some one down there probley got picked up and thought this info would help them get out of what ever they were in trouble for. When Marvel was on T.V. with the decision about the "accidental Drowing", he had this look on his face like, no ******* way do i believe this myself, but i have to make every one else believe this information! I drive a stick shift and i never put it in fifth when i'm stopped, never!
