Who cares? The beaners are committing fraud on a daily basis across America and are getting away with it. I don't see anyone making any effort to arrest them, so why should this lady get in trouble? I say more power to her, it's America Jack, it's come to be expected!

Probably because your her husband, and now you have to get off your A$$ and go get a job.
Myself I am TIRED of people (women) who abuse the system, our taxes are high enough without me having to pay for every person who decided, "hey I need more money so I will go get some welfare & a job."

Yes it pisses me off that the boarder jumpers are doing the same thing, but the white trash here in T.H they KNOW BETTER, she LIED for years, and the sad part is she will have to pay restitution but will NEVER pay it back because now she CAN'T AFFORD TO.
I say put her in jail let her stamp plates until that 36k is paid back, and let her think about it over the next 3 years every single day, every single license plate.

People are just rude on here! But to Elmovicious your tierd of paying taxes so people can scam the goverment? Did you read the full article like I did? Guess not...... It said her husband works... he pays taxes so the way I look at it she was just getting her money back if it is the circumstances they are stating or should I say accusing her of. Every single person is not guilty until proven guilty in court.

Sorry you've misjudged me Elmo, which rhymes with homo. I hate beaners that abuse the system and white trash too for that matter. There was a little sarcasm in my post, sorry you didn't catch it. Shouldn't you be at Cub Scout camp patting little boys on their behinds. Elmo rhymes with chomo too! Hmmmm. Nice picture.

It doesn't matter if her husband was working she knowingly defrauded the system. If her husband was working and paying taxes and had she been honest she may not have received not as much help but she could have received some help. No she had to pay for her cell phone , her internet, buy junk food,(just speculating0 be able to afford what the rest of us who actually work to pay with our hard earned money for. Not actually have buy to food.

Her husband is just as guilty as she is. I am sure he was fully aware, well I hope they enjoyed the ride. The state of Indiana needs to run an investigation on very single welfare recipient.

There are many out there who truly need the help temporarily until they can back on their feet and there are those who are truly disabled and not able to work but people like her make it hard on others. Give her a year in jail to think about it. Maybe if they would quit giving them a slap on the wrist and actually give them jail time they would quit doing it. Garnish the husbands wages since he also benefited. The sad part here is the kids pay for it to.

AGREED! It is okay because her husband paid taxes out of his check????? I highly doubt he paid the full 36,500 in taxes out his pay. Taxes pay for prisons to. They started investigating in 2008 WTF took so long?

Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

First of all Stupid, they have to have a birth certificate and social security card to apply for assistance. All the mexicans I know, work. Statistics show that there are more african americans on the welfare system than any other race, get your facts straight. I am native american, so I think all of you should take your asses home!

I think they should lock her ass up for good. She knew better. I am a single mom, that did work 50 hours a week to support my daughter because her dad lives in Terre Haute and is a dead beet. So I got a medical card for my daughter, because her looser dad wont pay child support, had another kid, and is living in a goverment issued home with his girlfriend. (MIKE LEONARD) I pay taxes and work my ass off so dead beets like him dont have to take care of their kids. Send them all to jail, at least then paying my taxes will be worth it.

In Vigo County we are soft on all criminals especially back child support....the Judge just keeps slapping them on the wrist over and over with never any fear of punishment on the criminals part. After about 15 thousand back child support builds up, the State will step in. lol I have to laugh at this but its truly sad: the State tells them he either has to have a job or enroll in school or do community service. lol thats a no brainer they just enroll at Ivy tech and screw the taxpayer again on all the "free" federal assistance grants and loans. What a f*ckn joke! This life is not that difficult; PUTEM IN JAIL!

Everyone's doing it in Marshall. As long as you work in Indiana and live in Marshall, you can qualify for food stamps, free medical, etc.

Just ask Mike Wyatt.
