Thinking about applying at one of these factories. Any input as to the work environment, salary, or benefits? Thanks.

Ask Sara she seems to enjoy the job, and the salary.
I've never heard her complain.

Aisin by far. Aisin is non-union. Thyssen Krupp is a union facility (United Asshole Wideners). Unions are destroying America and sending job overseas. I am glad Indiana is seeking to be a Right To Work state. It will bring more good paying jobs and keep them in Indiana. Down with the stupid unions. Look at Bemis, they brought in that Commie Danny Glover to picket with them. He just got done hugging Hugo Chavez and then made a stop by Terre Haute. Bemis didn't miss a beat when the union workers went out on strike. The unions workers weren't making any money and took a big hit to their pay and benefits. The union took from them, thank god the company came to the rescue.

Its really corrupt at thyssen. I have seen so many people come in and lose their jobs. Its basically a liking game. If you dont fit in with us then the senior people make sure they get you fired. The big wigs dont care and are too concerned with the expansion. Alot of the employees get screwed out of vacation days. If you complain...if you miss..if you come late. No they wont fire you unless they dont like you lol. Its hell to get on too. Sexual harassment happens all the time and nothing is done about it and so does bullying.

Aisin was bought out by Advics a couple of years ago. It's not a bad job,but tops out at $15.95,unless you get into won't get any better any where else.Monday thru Friday in most cases.I've been there eight years and have worked four Saturdays.Thirteen payed holidays a year, perfect attendance pay, they pay for your shoes and shirts and it's climate control 60 degrees all year round(but it does get hot in the building).

I wouldn't recommend TkP to anyone, AV runs that place like a sweatshop and tries to keep everyone in fear of loosing their job, and that's not to mention the money u will piss away on that union, its a joke and the president of the union is just a common worker so who do u think he really listens to!
