Danny Tanoos's Best Friend now

I find it very interesting how Danny Tanoos s now such good friends with Steve Weatherford. It was not too long ago that if I am not mistaken that Danny Tanoos held of giving Steve Weatherford the McMillen Award until after Terre Haute North's Commencement was over. Did not make the announcement untl it ddid not matter. I wonder how good of friend Danny is with Tsali Lowe?

Don't ya love the letters to the editor from VCSC teachers and principals. They praise their own efforts and always make it sound like Tanoos was the the main reason the event was a success. Wonder if he makes them write the letters.

Yes, Papaw he does make administrators write the letters to the editor. Each principal/dean is REQUIRED to submit a letter every year. When I see the editorial page, I always look first at the name of the person who submitted it. If it is someone from VCSC, I skip reading it because it is the same old drivel. He also makes employees contribute to a charity of HIS choice each year. Hahn, the list could go on and on.

you know it is a violation of federal labor laws for an employer to force or coerce his employees to contribute to any charity or fundraiser. He can and Vigo county can be sued for this. I suggest a labor relations attorney be contacted if the employees are being pressured by management. This is illegal activity.
Also don't get any local attorney.

Google the Hatch Act for starters. If you are working for an elected official in partisan elections that employer can't use their power over you to get you to donate especially to a
Political party or campaign. This law may not cover all your concerns but their ate many more that deal with this area and can carry criminal penalties I believe.

They know how to cover their tracks, it's happened before. Infractions are fabricated to cover the dismissal or written warning.

maybe so but if they violate federal law you can claim in court that is why you were fired. They will settle before fighting a long drawn out legal battle especially if federal law violations are a part of the case.

Ok so if they are re elected then the people of this county must be happy with what he's doing as superintendent. Wouldn't they be voted out if not? Good job mr tanoos keep up the good work
