Care Ambulamce is preparing to move to their new location. They have added more new vehicles and are hiring qualified EMT's a managegers. Feels good to have a company with quality vehicles and competent employees to take CARE of us. Thanks Terre Haute.

They are at the overpass on 3rd street just south of locust. The new location will be revealed in a week. The offices are very nice. If you know of any EMT's, Paramedics or dispatchers let them know they are hiring qualified applicants. The got the county contract so they are busting at the seams.

They did not get the county contract, they aren't putting a dispatch center in their new building, which by the way is located on the east side of 13th just north of 8th av

Care doesn't have the experience to do. 911 for Terre haute they have replaced one new ambulance and they r moving into a building that is smaller than the one they have now before u start talking check ur facts and yes I am an ex care employee but that was by choice

Actually they have replaced several older ambulances, the new building is much larger and nicer than the pole barn, and as for you being an ex employee, sounds like they don't miss you. With runs increasing everyday and more rollovers than ever, TC can keep screwing up, lying to their employees, and disrespecting their patients, Care will just keep getting better and better.

You can't even get cleared at Transcare. As far as a Real EMT, learn your protocols then come back with that shit. Care is glad to be rid of you.

Transcare extended the contract without putting it up for bid. It was an illegal move and its the old contract without amendments

They will be moving into the old Cut Rate China building at 13th and 8th Ave (about 1/2 block North on the east side). They have a very high tech 911 system. It can even link to an AP for the Smart phone. Just because you call 911 does not mean you do not have a choice. You can call the 911 dispatch and ask for the ambulance company you desire. They at the 911 office will punch it into the system and if you call it states who to dispatch. The Couty Contract only gives the contract holder first rights to the call in unless they are bumped out of the system or are not able to make the run.

That is true. Amazing how the conrtact was amended with out the County commissioners noticing and was signed. ou would have to be totally unethical, schrewd and down right desparate to do that. No integrity.

Thank, you please tell me more.

I have a feeling you are leaning more on the Care side than Trans-care, am I correct?

I would like to hear something from the Trans-care side. Please comment on the above post.

I think it is normal for ambulance contracts to have an option to extend them. At least I will say that I have seen several with that option in them.

So you are saying you think it is an extention. Just as a guess or if you know for a fact, how long would that extention be for?
