Tried Google, and apparently he trains dogs. Is that why the police should talk to him, or is there something else?

Tribune-Star Report
The body of a 24-year-old Fountain County man was found Monday along the bank of Coal Creek in Parke County.
Marty A. Blankenbeckler of Kingman apparently died after fleeing police on Saturday. The man apparently did not see the bank of the creek, falling 15 to 20 feet and landing near a log, said Parke County Sheriff Charles L. Bollinger.
On Saturday afternoon, Parke County Deputy Jack Shannon and Cayuga Town Marshal Coleman Jarrett saw a pickup cross the center line on County Road 1240 North. It nearly struck the deputy's vehicle, and he gave chase.
The vehicle eventually stopped and two males fled on foot. Roger D. Plunkett, 21, of Kingman was apprehended and charged with resisting law enforcement and public intoxication. Plunkett remained in the Parke County Jail late Monday. He could not be reached for comment.
The two officers searched the area for the second person, without success. On Sunday, the Fountain County Sheriff's Department received a notice from family members that Blankenbeckler was reported missing. Bollinger organized a search of the area with the aid of the Indiana State Police, an Indiana Conservation officer, the Marshall Fire Department, Bloomingdale Fire Department and the Kingman Fire Department.
Blankenbeckler's body was discovered about 12:50 a.m. Monday.

Another old Trib Star article:

Parke County deputy accused in arson
By Lori Henson Tribune-Star
Indiana State Police arrested Parke County Sheriff's Deputy Jack Shannon on Thursday on a warrant charging him with arson.
Shannon, 40, of Montezuma is head of Parke County's K-9 drug-sniffing dog unit. He was being held in the Edgar County (Ill.) Jail late Thursday on $2,000 cash bail. He had first been taken to Vigo County Jail by Indiana State Police, but was later transferred.
The 5:47 p.m. arrest was in connection with a car fire in rural Edgar County, near Chrisman ``several months ago,'' Edgar County Sheriff Karl Farnham said. Farnham said no more details would be available until today.
``We have been working on this for a long time,'' Farnham said.
Farnham said the case has been turned over to Edgar County State's Attorney Allan F. Lolie Jr., who was unreachable Thursday night.
Parke County Sheriff Mark Bridge was not available for comment late Thursday.
