My neighbors, who reside at 1231 south 9th street Terre Haute Indiana, sell drugs! I know this because cops tell you what to look for. There are at least (on average) 15-23 cars per day, many of these cars come by everyday, the vehicle is left to run, usually with passengers, & more often than not, young children left in the car, while the driver or some other occupant runs inside for (again, on average) 30 seconds to 2 minutes. After they return to their vehicle & drive away. I have called the THPD, their tip line, & I have yet to even see an increase in police presence. It's very upsetting to me, as I give descriptions, times, even license plates numbers. I called THPD so much concerning this matter that I was threatened that i could be charged with harassment or some other such bull shit, for simply pressing the civil servants of my community to serve and actually do their job. It's frustrating as a homeowner to watch ones neighborhood become over whelmed with drugs and their dealers. I'm considering calling CPS because they have small children in their custody that more often than not, end up outside when the numerous visitors arrive. My children live with me, & I'm afraid to let them play outside! Now, THPD, please, do your job & send these drug dealing bad parents to jail & return my neighborhood to the quite nice place I bought to raise my children in.
They drive an older silver Chrysler Sebring.

Maybe the police are conducting an investigation, sometimes it takes awhile to make charges that will stick.
CPS should have been your first call, why wait?

There you go. Call the owners and inform them of what is happening. If they allow it to continue they could be cited.

Stop and consider that geting the little guy who is buying is not the point. Getting the guy who is selling is, as well as who HE buys from. This doesn't happen as it does in TV. Takes time and observation. Our LE in Wabash Valley have been very successful with their busts. It'll happen when it's time.

This must be a bigger player and no just some small time fiend with a habit that the courts cans cash in on. The cops need more time to tip the big fish off. Besides the cops are all a bunch of sissies to start with. The meth-lockup-scam-4-profit is the only thing that keeps the city afloat fiscally. This isn't just speculation on my part either. A slick business know who to profit on the way up and the way down both.

Strage that I see this on hear I just live a few houses down from hear an to have kids that live with me. I also have been calling THPD and have on 3 separate ocations talked to 2 different police officers that "petrol" this area. I to have been told to stop calling In so much about the same problem but I have been doing this for 6 to 8 months as mean cars that are there a day and every time the same cars are there every day and when these people are not home there "customers" hangout and drive around the block for hours till these people get home. Witch in this time theft has taken place dunno Forsure it it was from them but has not been a problem till the "customers" are just hanging around all day and coming in the house for seconds at a time then leaving it is sad. And I see about the time it would take but to see I am not the only one that has been calling in about this and after 8 months no action has been taken I am not sure what to say. THPD pleas step your "GAME" up and do something pleas before someone gets hurt or one of these drugged out people hit my kid!!!

Im sorry u have to leave by this creep, but most likely they do know and are waiting for the opportunity and maybe doing investigation that can take a long time. Making arrrests are tricky when its a big dealer. Im sorry u have to endure this thou. I feel for every child involved and ignored. I pray something does get done fast

If you can safely, copy down the license plates and the description of the cars and post them on this sight.
Maybe that will get the police attention to do somthing.

Just start video taping everything you see. Spend a week documenting what you are talking about, what you are seeing, the people, their cars, their license plates, the KIDS left in said cars unattended , then, take your video evidence to the police... Quit messing with THPD, go to the STATE police with your evidence, call the DEA with your video, submit your video to TV stations...

you get the idea!

You guys are making mountains out of mole hills, if the worse problems TH has is a couple drug dealers and some gas stations selling spice, TH is very fortunate. I grew up in Indianapolis where such things don't hold enough merit to even mention let alone complain about, I might move out here just for the peace of mind......

very brave of you to post their address and say you're their neighbor....it wouldn't take much for them to see this and figure out who you are and retaliate in some way

That's BS you have the right no you are responsible for the safety of your family. March right down to the Police Station and request to speak to the Chief of Police and inform him of your problem and are concerned about your safety.Give him 24 hrs to fix it then walk down to the Mayors office . Don t stand for that crap you pay their salaries.

The police are either connected to the person or they are scared since it's not some drunk college kid that can't walk right.

Now that I have seen that I am not the only MOM on this street that are haveing a problem with the trafic and company that is going on up the street. There are a lot of MOMS up and down the street i live down the blocks so I would have to get the plate numbers when they go by and from where I am pictures videos would not be good. I hope the THPD will address this matter
