Since they continue to sell pseudoephedrine cold pills to everbody, regardless of who you are, should they consider selling starter kits, and keep it all contained to 1 isle, instead of keeping all the other precursors scattered throughout their store?
Of course I'm being sarcastic, but since it's obvious they are one of the biggest suppliers of all the meth precursors in the county, and refuse to help curb the problem,by allowing the cold pills to be sold over the counter to obvious addicts, doesn't that also make them part of the problem instead of the solution?
I'm tired of meth problems in the community and find it appauling that it contiues when it could all be stopped right at the pharmacy counters.

Across the border in Robinson Illinois you can't get sudafed at wallyworld unless you live in the county. I'd rather not see sudafed go to prescription. I'd hate to have to go to the doc just to get some.

Perhaps if the pharmacies required a 30min wait before dispensing the pills to cross reference the id being used make the purchases.
Any kind of deterant would be better then it is now.
Not only are lots of lives at stake but the current limit laws leaves the door wide open for government fabricated drug conspiracies.
Either way it will never stop until the current cycle is broken.

I think the only REAL answer is for someone to come up with something that works as good as sudafed (that can't be used to make meth) and then do away with the sudafed. That would make everyone happy.
I only use it a couple times a year, I've tried the replacement stuff and they don't work. lol

I agree with you. But people like sudafed are making to much money off of it the way it is they don't want the problem to stop,it's big bussiness all the way around except for the addicts and their families who suffer from the insane addiction, not to mention the enviroment, children, animals,fi re & police personell.
I used to be addicted to making it and using it until it almost cost me my life in prison.Others havent been so fortunate.
It pisses me off I fell for the addiction, especially after Ive found out how much this government is involved, knowing what they know and still allowing it to happen for their own greed.
I've been clean 3yrs, and it helps me stay that way advocating for ways to stop the cycle.

congrats dea. Hard enough to quit smoking, can't imagine the will power it would take to give up meth.

Moose, I'm not sure that would keep them out. It IS possible to make meth without pseudoephedrine, I found an interesting string on it after i googled it.

They really should make all meth ingredients cheap and easy to legally obtain. It would destroy the street value and people wouldn't be stealing to make/buy it. Then anybody that was actually stupid enough to put all that nasty crap into their body could just slowly or not so slowly remove themselves from society, one pound/tooth at a time.

Yeah. Ammonia, battery innards, starting fluid...

I can see how a reasonable person can get caught up in something that sounds so healthy.

Congrats on the sobriety. I recommend a book for you or anyone, it is called "The Big White Lie" written by a retired DEA agent. Very interesting read.

Why not, they have an entire encap in the automotive department devoted to syphoning equipment. Im in my late 40's and have NEVER syphoned anything. These tools are for criminals, criminals that steal your gasoline while you are in bed asleep so you can get up and go to yourr job. If you catch them, kill them, perhaps the Sheriffs department will be able to ID the skeletal remains by the time that they get there

Absolutely. Pass the kits out at Christmas time for free. The sooner this drug kills off all that were ignorant enough to try it the first time the better off we will be. Look at it this way. What, maybe 1 in 50 ever gets free of this crap after that first hit off the pipe right? I dunno, maybe exaggerated but not much. So, within weeks after smoking they begin a life of crime that never stops. Break ins, petty theft and trips to jail, a vicious cicle that never ever ends. Lets speed up the process

what no one gets in this whole thing is now matter what everyone takes away from them, they will find another way to make it! It is never going to stop no matter what we do to stop it just like drunk driving, pot,and all the other stuff out there. If they want it they will keep finding ways to make it. SAD BUT TRUE!

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Virgo

Unfortunately, this looks like being another difficult day, and, as Mars turns retrograde, certain people are quick to take offence or raise their voices. Make sure you aren't adding to the tension by doing or saying something that's provocative or even downright insulting. If you get involved in a shouting match it will be difficult to stop and you could say some nasty things in the heat of the moment.
