Hard lesson to learn isn't it. Kids, booze and cars don't mix. Or drugs. Teach your kids this lesson by showing the mistakes of others and what can happen. Don't drink and drive yourself either, as actions are louder than words when it comes to preventing your kid from being the next one.
From the amount of beer cans thrown out on the roads, one can expect this to happen again, as the parents are teaching the wrong habits. There's certainly nothing wrong with haveing a beer, but do it at home, not on the range.
