This is a great story of patriotism! I am especially touched by the love for this country by the Bolanos family especially the immigrant father. It's tragic that the Bolanos brothers had to endure so much hate on their return home from Vietnam for simply serving their country. I wonder if the elder immigrant father would have to endure the same hate by some people today for being an immigrant (legal or not) in this country. Would Lou Dobbs salute the Bolanos father and thank him for asking his sons to serve or would he ask him to leave this country?

Gentlemen, I do not know any of you and I was in my pre-teen and teen year during Viet Nam and so my interest in it was only heightened when it ended. But for all each of you did during that war, please accept my profound and heartfelt thanks for your service to your country and community.

On this very special day of mixed emotions, Veterans’ Day 2009: we want to thank all our Veterans and the “unsung Heroes”– their loved ones, who all endured sometimes very severe hardships while their HERO was away from home, fulfilling military and coutry obligations. We also want to thank the surviving loved ones of our troops who have gone-on ahead of us. Thanks for your service and for your many personal sacrifices.

Daily Horoscope for December 12

Virgo

A loved one is really chatty today, and they won't really know when to shut up. This is great if you don't have anything better to do than to listen to them running on, but won't be such good news if you've got one eye on the clock all the time. Mind you, you won't exactly have taken a vow of silence yourself, particularly when it comes to talking about domestic matters.
