This was my friend. Not sure I should say her name. The kids are fine but she is in critical condition. She has been severely burned and suffers the loss of both her legs. If anyone reading this prays, please start praying for her recovery. Please pray for her children who watched as she caught fire. Please also give thanks to the police officers and firefighters who got them out. God bless.

Sorry to hear this story, but tailgating should b fully enforced by the police. She should have backed off of the semi n realized he was having mechanical issues. They said he was attempting to pull off the highway, thats y we should pay attention to the road n whats in front of us. Prayers b with her. Especially she had her kids in the car. Thank goodness they r ok, but that really pisses me off when ppl put their kids in situations. Drive caustiously n she shouldve considered those kids. My heart goes out to the kids. Sry she lost her legs.

Clinton, I get your point but you are clueless in this situation. The driver of the semi had already been called in for not leaving the road. When you see tail lights at night you can not judge speed. Second of all tailgating is fallowing someone to closely, which she was not. She came up with no chance to stop. The reason she is alive is because an officer arived less than a minute behind the wreck. THe officer arrived because the semi driver had been called in by someone else who almost wrecked because of him. Please dont assume that everyone who rearends someone is tailgating because its not true. To say anything negative about this wonderful women is horrible. She is fighting for her life because of an accident she couldnt avoid.

Thank you so much for the prayers. I believe they are what has saved her. God truly wrapped his arms around her kids. The little boy has a broken arm, but other than that they are not hurt. Pray for their mental health. These 2 small children did witness their mom get engulfed in flames. My friend is still fighting. She has been through many surgeries already. Her whole body but her face was severely burned so there is a lot that goes with that. They are finished with closing the amputation. As of now she is kinda conscious, but running bad fevers. Thanks once again to everyone praying. Bystander I am very sorry you and your daughters had to witness the accident.
