I am a Temple resident who grew up playing ball in Temple againt Mr. Barry Lewis's Hot Shots. I would like to know if anyone has information regarding his funeral arrangements. Thank you.

Mr. Barry Lewis, 55, passed away on June 16, 2009 at the Atlanta Medical Center.
Mr. Lewis was born October 27, 1953, in Carroll County, Ga., to Bobby Lee Lewis and the late Martha Jean Rabun Lewis. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Temple. He worked as a school bus driver for the Carroll school system for over 16 years, and was the owner of Temple Automotive for over 31 years. He was devoted to the youth of the community and served as a coach for many years. He was a devoted husband and loving father. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother John Lewis; brother-in-law Dwight Ellis; sisters-in-law Judy Lewis, and Mary Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Carole Ellis Lewis; daughters and sons-in-law Michelle and Josh Chambers of Temple, Melisa and Dean Sims of Marietta; father, Bobby Lee Lewis of Temple; sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Dits Kruayai of Douglasville, and Rhonda Thompson of Temple; brothers, Keith Lewis, Dale Lewis and Shane Lewis, all of Temple, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Christopher Kruayai of Jacksonville, Florida, Lex Kruayai of Douglasville, Gidget Lewis of Temple, Sean Lewis of Alabama, Tyler Lewis of Alabama, Kenneth Lewis of Temple, Kevin Lewis of Temple, Charles Thompson of Temple, and Josh and Misty Thompson of Hiram, Wesley Ellis of Villa Rica, Butch Ellis of Powder Springs; aunts, Judy Spratlin, Janice Akin and Joy Morris. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 2 p.m. from the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with ministers Scott Akin, Jay Akin and Bill Gray officiating. Interment will follow at the Liberty Church Cemetery Little Vine. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 19, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica.
