How many stores were hit? Better question is, where were the police? Isn't the station now in the old Scoggins building?

Typical for Bremen PD. How many bank robberies and murders have ever been solved in Bremen? It is almost like Dan McCain, and Johnny Norton never left.

James O'Neal Dodge was one of the places..and I think there were about five other places in Bremen. If I'm not mistaken, which I could be, one was one of the pharmacies.

That's because most are after the easy money, the kind that really can't be accounted for and the owners don't pursue it. How else can these cops afford such big homes boats cars trucks and motorcycles on a $30-40k salary? Do you really think all the seized drugs moneys cars and homes really gets turned in.

Brew crew did it ever occur to you that their wives may have jobs as well? All these unfounded accusations are really pathetic, not to mention very tiring to see post after post! I know several police officers (not just in Bremen) and most have at least 1 other job besides being an officer. Furthermore, I don't really see how they can not turn in a seized car or a house since they have titles and loans on them, and money is tagged, bagged and photographed, then put in to evidence. Are you drunk or just brain dead?

it happened overnite/ thursday morning. police on patrol drove thru about 2 and nothing was up... about 330 they saw a door kicked in at jewelry store. they investigated found 4 more vandalized stores, 2 robbed. no stores had security or cameras. so... how many 5-0s shoulda been working overnite and should they have been planted at those specific locations waiting for action?

realistic not all cops are honest turn the news on, granted there are some honest ones but they are going fast, I challenge you to prove that all seized property is turned in, how many vehicles was found at the former chief in atlanta's house that he was using, or the cop that was arrested for selling guns that was seized , so call me drunk brain dead or what there are crooked cops

Not to mention that the person said should they sit at the buildings all night....well instead of sitting on the side of the road at the boot camp looking for speeders.... they could do something useful.

talk bad all you want on the bremen pd or any pd for that matter.......but before you talk too much,,, put youself in their shoes......oh my-bad you won't do that...this coming from someone who has a long track record from the other side........you folks need to look deeeep down inside before you speak..no matter where you go if someone wants to get stupid enough to do someone else wrong or steal something from someone else, it's very seldom that the police are right there when it happens........for those of you that has to steal, then thats good for you till you get caught and you will......as for the rest of you be thankful you have the bremen pd and all the other pds for that matter..........

I don't have to prove they aren't corrupt. Innocent until proven guilty applies to cops as well!

I want to thank the police officers that investigated the break ins this past week in Bremen. Many are bad mouthing them, but I, as a business owner appreciate all they did after the break in. The break ins happened in the middle of the night. After they were discovered, all business owners were notified and the city helped clean up the broken glass, etc.
I, for one, appreciate them, and unless you plan on getting out and doing the job better than they are, you should keep your opinions to yourself.

Just because I don't want to leave my successful career and become a cop I shouldn't feel free to express my opinion? Really?

Cops are like every other kind of job, you've got good people and bad, honest folks and crooks. It gets me when I see a cop or cop's spouse complaining that they get no respect and they're out there "putting their lives on the line" for us. If that were an unexpected development, I could understand the argument. They knew going in that a consequence of being a cop was the possibility of encountering bad guys. Not that I don't appreciate it, but don't use part of the job description you were aware of going in to try and get respect or sympathy. Just do your job.
Same thing goes for teachers. If you're gonna complain about the pay, which is the highest in the Southeast here in GA, perhaps you should have selected another major in college. Unless, of course, you anticipated your entry into the field would trigger a sudden escalation in teacher salaries.

How about we just call you retarted? Can you use any punctuation besides a comma? Your poor education and attitude toward police, leads me to think that you have met plenty of cops.

Gang Banger is right. Brew Crew lists all of these other departments with bad cops, but can't cite an instance where Bremen Police Department or its officers were implicated in deceitful practices. The police officers in Bremen are hard working, riding by your homes and businesses 24 hours a day. Those men and women are happily protecting your little city. Man up if you have legitimate beef with the police department and make a complaint instead of being a pansey and posting rediculous comments on Topix.

Dan McCain got someone killed at the CVS many years ago.
