2 I don't believe that there is a racial componant to "illegal aliens." This seems straightforward to me. Street crime often flows from the poorest strata. If that strata are already law-breakers, by definition; and also are rootless and often without any social ties at all; this makes sense. Are you a racist? |

1 Houston County Sheriff's Sgt. Jackie Smith said he charged Luis Hernandez-Arellano, 38, with felony obstruction of justice last week for giving deputies false identification. Smith said deputies stopped a vehicle on Alabama Highway 109 Thursday for running a stop sign. The driver told deputies his name was Caesar Garza. After Garza failed to provide a driver's license or other identification, deputies were able to positively identify him as Carlos Cortez. Investigators later learned through Immigration and Customs Enforcement that Cortez is actually Luis Hernandez-Arellano |

2 this program is very unpopular with the public these people are not professionals Bright House Networks’ Tampa Bay division will work with local sheriffs’ offices to roll out a neighborhood-watch effort the division has dubbed “Operation Bright Eyes.” In the first phase of the program, about 500 of the cable company’s technicians will receive crime-watch training. Ultimately, 2,500 field employees will receive training from law-enforcement officials in seven local counties. The goal is to train field employees to recognize suspicious behavior and to quickly report possible criminal activities to the appropriate authorities. The initiative was announced just before the July 4 holiday by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Child Protection Investigation Division in Largo, Fla. The effort might be in response to a report that local citizens continue to be concerned about crime in their neighborhoods, even though statistics show crime is dropping in the Tampa Bay area. “Operation Bright Eyes really gives us the chance to take a proactive role in public safety and address a true community concern,” division president Kevin Hyman said in a statement.“We’re not asking our people to be vigilantes or put themselves in harm’s way. We’re merely deploying 500 extra sets of eyes and ears to help keep our neighborhoods and residents safe.” The workers will be provided with a comprehensive list of emergency numbers to call. The division anticipates that all appropriate workers will receive training and join the program by year-end. There is a growing trend in public-affairs initiatives by cable operators. |

2 Enforcement can actually make a difference. What a remarkable conclusion. All this country needs is the political will and the illegal alien problem can be solved. However, after the congressional critters nationalize health care a new wave of foreign nationals will be sneaking across the border for their free kidney transplants. Just my opinion. |

2 It didn't take long for thousands of illegal aliens to flock to the city. At the day labor center, upwards of 500 illegals loitered on the streets every day, running into traffic, harassing drivers at the stop lights, urinating and deficating all along the fences for blocks in the surrounding area. Car break ins skyrocketed in the area. Burglaries sky rocketed. Reports of women and children being harassed and molested within the 15 square block area of the day-labor center. The crime of rape skyrocketed. Shoplifting crimes skyrocketed in the stores around the day-labor center. Illegal aliens were living 25 to a small one-bedroom apartment (a violation of city zoning laws), and even sleeping in the laundry rooms of apartment buildings. The local paper carried a news story on the front page, one day, with header reading "Immigrant number in Costa Mesa rises by 85%", with the story following telling about the day-labor center, and how in the past year it drew "immigrants" (illegal aliens) into the city of Costa Mesa. On the following page, of the same issue, another story about Costa Mesa. This one from the Costa Mesa Police, reported that crime in Costa Mesa had "risen by 85% in the past year". Two stories, same numbers. It was, in fact, two sides of the same story. Only the newspaper separated the story to try to hide the fact that the day labor center was directly responsible for the rise in crime in Costa Mesa. But the citizens of Costa Mesa were not that dumb. The "pro-illegal alien" mayor was canned and Costa Mesa got a new mayor, whose first order of business was shutting that day-labor center down. Next the Costa Mesa Police Dept implemented a program to work with Immigration Customs Enforcement to deport illegal immigrants who commit major crimes. Within the first year the numbers of illegal aliens in the city dropped, do did crime. And it continued dropping as more illegal aliens moved out. What happened in Costa Mesa, clearly shows that an inundation of massive numbers of illegal aliens to any city, any county, any state, and to the nation, as a whole, brings in crime. And when the numbers are reversed, and illegal aliens are deported, the crime rate drops. |

1 I don't need to "barrow" a history book, but I could "borrow" one. It wouldn't be your false propoganda history book, though. Get over it...we took this land and it is ours and will always be ours. We either won it fair and square or it was sold to us fair and square. You snooze, you lose. |
