I have thought the same exact thing concerning the coverage being one sided. What happened to innocent until proven guilty.

Very nice areas. Dana Pt. too :)
I remember the stairs down to the beach, this was back in the 80's-90's, so the whole house could be rebuilt by now, loved it every day I was there :)
From Corona Del Mar south to Laguna, spectacle coves with stairs down to Beach. The coastline line is rugged and speatcluar. Dana Point has the Ritz Carlton resort and yacht harbor, changed from the sleepy little town. Have you been to Las Brisas in dt Laguna on the bluffs, famous for the Margaritas, appetizers and lovely patio. I like the charm of the old Hotel Laguna and the outdoor seating on the Terrace Room patio.

Yes, nice lady, so much of Cal is truly God's country.

Oh, staying on topic (Lol), just back and thought I would catch up on news worldwide on CNN. Guess what, a long clip of Anderson Cooper and Dr Drew (yes on CNN) opining on JA...Anderson, who I had held in hight esteem for his honesty, was reluctanly agreeing with Drew as to JA being the devil. He appeared uncomfortable.
Hell, I turned it off.

So, on the bungalow: remolded kitchen & bath 2006 done to code/permit.
I had the typical home inspection, looked up the permits, and had 3 different people check out the electrical, plumbing, and gas (PG&E does courtesy safety checks, and 2 electricians).
The interior is also a work in progress: will paint w/Kelly Moore (per my brother-in-law contractor/inspector), and re-finish or cover the floors later. This house is my new car & luxe vacations :)
Did they go generic or modern in the bath & kitchen.

Think about the flooring, I have been surprised at all of wood options availabe.

Have you figured out your interior color scheme.

Got a chuckle out of this being your new car and lux vacation.
You are very interesting and love your mind

No doubt you will feel a lot of satisfaction.

Agree

Any thoughts on her having been overcharged. Do you see this as more of a Manslaughter case?

I wouldn't call DP marina a yacht harbor. Quite a variety of boats there. I keep a boat there that is quite nice but certainly not a yacht. Preferred Montage to the Ritz but stay at the beach house when I'm in Cali. Years age my best friends mother-in-law owned the Hotel Laguna. Many good times there.

:) ok, so I was going to buy an Infiniti G35 Coupe, silver w/black interior (only wanted the 2 door because the driving is sportier and better handling, etc. & I liked it), and while my friend was searching inventories for me... my realtor gf said I could probably qualify for a house... and since I was newly retired we'd spend a lot of time together (friends since 7th grade); fast forward, thank GOD I bought the house. It's a GODsend. I can get that G35 some other time :) or I'll want something else when my 72t is satisfied :)

Funny, you should ask about carpet, because my brother, sister-n-law and I spent a long tome ripping out the existing carpet. It was dark green, and it just had to go.
Currently, and probably for awhile, the floors are a combo of circa 1920-19?? woods, with the exception of the kitchen pergo
:( and decent tile in the Jack n Jill bath... Painters drop cloths are great temp coverings, w/area rugs.
I'm luxe on a budget :) I came from a family of 8 (Irish Cath. doctor & nurse). I'm patient when I have a specific goal, just like training for a marathon (yearsss ago). I love this house every day. I thank GOD for this whole county every day.:)

Laguna area: Las Brisas, yes. Dana Pt. hoodie, yes.:) The harbor is so nice, and like you said, also GOD's country. I think the ocean is HIS aquarium, and prefer to admire it from mostly dry sand :)

I always take the carpet out, even if it looks newer and clean (who knows what's on it)..then new luxury carpet in master bedroom, wood floors the rest of the place, except bath/kitch of course...A new era of synthetic wood flooring (not lineleome) that looks better than wood...have you seen the teak or dark bamboo, although may not go with a Bungalow...have seen some cool vintage Craftsmans with a contemporary decor and interior lighting.

One can go lux on a budget, a lot of choices. Yes, car later. So you like the Silver/Black combo, so do I, have one, but a German model. The call from your RE friend came in at just the right time. What a country :)

Great ideas :) Yes, and I like the plank-width wood and faux-wood.
This bungalow has straight fronch porch posts, as compared to the style that is tapered. The first thing I did was put up the Flag :), then had some ugly/nuisance things removed: a leaning concrete retaining wall, a huge camphor tree that was growing "everywhere", a ramp over the front steps, and a small leaning tree from the front....

That's funny that you have a G35 silver coupe :) not a very common style, and German at that??? I found a lot w/light grey interior. A German one? Interesting; what about smog?

Sorry, got you confused on the car...328i BMW last year, silver/blk...i like the Infiit was interested in it...like you said, when the time come arounds a car for you...some cars just look good in certain colors, also like Whtie/Beige leather

No telling all of the things we both like:)

Know what you mean about taking out the ugly stuff right away, just have to do it to sleep right. Hate ramps, odd ball columns/posts and trees that throw it all off.
