Wow, Dr Drew, streaming an entire series of hot new Jody pics, not only several nudes, but a panorama of candid and posed shots, from before Travis. Last evening, he had a goofy panel on, including dopey co-host Jillian Reynolds, who was practically on the nod.

A cult following is forming up. Some of the other Topix threads (under Jodi Arias) are broaching off the wall pro Jodi theories. One claims racial animus ... White Man persecuting her as they did with OJ.

Jody/Travis are taking a life all of it's own.

Goodmorning Elise

No word yet from the guy she had lived with for several years in Palm Desert. He has been refered to as an executive in a Health Club (Gym) chain. She split from him soon after meeting Travis.

If this had occured in Los Angeles she would have been charged with voluntary Manslaughter, not 1st degree murder, and certainy not a death penalty case. Jody would be facing less than ten year imprisonment.
The mere fact that abused women arm themselves in advance does not establish premeditation. It is also common in crimes of passion, for assailants to lash out, inflicting multiple wounds. Then they turn into elaboartate deception to avoid arrest.
That's because California gives way too light sentences to EVERYONE. California has a history of allowing very dangerous people to go free and continue to kill, including Edmund Kemper who killed his grandparents as a teenager and spent time at Atascadero State Hospital where he hoodwinked the psychiatrists into allowing him to go free where he went on to kill many other people, including his own mother.

LA Guy, you sound like a guy living in a crappy apartment in Van Nuys. How's that call center job going? Or wait, I'm betting it's a job answering calls in a Van Nuys warehouse.
You sure are "big time."
Any guy who is even remotely defending Jodi Arias right now because of her looks, etc. is a MASOCHIST, pure and simple.

As for the shirt, if someone could find and contact the company who made it I would guarantee that SHE had the shirt made...not Travis!
I agree and even if she didn't, did anyone put a gun to her head and make her put it on? She is a very cunning liar, I highly doubt ANYONE could manipulate this woman.

Hello from LA - Find your posts interesting and informative, particularly these last two. I beleivd that some facts are being mixed with a lot of fiction in this case. No dirt on Jody's past, previous history of stalking, as yet. There is also a racial subtext, albiet minimal, since Jody is the demure (yet smoldering) Latina and Travis is the clean cut white Morman youngman. They were both in over their heads.
Can you rethink this case as voluntary manslaughter (homicide), still a very serious crime with a potential of a long sentence, since a firearm was used. Try to get beyond the premeditation, which is an element of 1st degree murder, as it is not uncommon for battered women to pre arm themselves. In LA or NY, this case would be plea bargained down to Manslaughter, and perhaps a cap of less than ten years.
I do agree with the fact that this would be plea bargained to a lesser charge in both California and New York. I live in NY and I'm appalled at the sentences people get here for murder; they get a slap on the wrist. It's seriously scary. I'm glad Jodi is not here and is in Arizona instead! Texas would be even better though!

About Jodi's co-workers cat, I don't think the cat died. I think the co-worker said the cat was traumatized by the experience. It was definitely cruel of Jodi to lock the cat in a room for 2 weeks alone, although she gave the cat food and water from what I remember hearing in the story. I also heard she once kicked a dog out of anger. Aside from what happened to Travis which of course was horrendous, I'm sorry he allowed her around his dog, that's for sure.

Hi Elise

Nancy Grace just now reporting that a series of letters from Travis may set Jody free. Bombshell Evidence, according to Nancy Grace. Stay tuned.

OJ was offered a manslaughter plea by the DA and I believe a three year sentence. He went to trial and the rest is history.

If Jody had sought legal advice and not made up the cover stories she would have have been looking at a low level manslaughter and already out of jail.

True as to Cal releasing killers who have killed again. Many sex offenders (Lawrence Bittaker for one) have been released from Atascadero who have gone on killing sprees. Cal is currently housing about 700 on death row and the voters just turned down a well financed referendum by the Hollywood elite and liberal establishment to abolish the DP. A core of about 20 condemened on Cal's Death Row, are truly deserving of death penalty, forthwith. Richard Ramirez (Night Stalker), Lawrence Bittaker (Pliers), Randy Kraft, et al.

Do you see Jody as deserving the DP?

More pics streaming, feel bad for Travis, who was a good youngman enjoying himself. Arrogance is not a crime, but has done many a good man in. Still do not feel that this is not a 1st degree murder case.

Manslaughter, less than ten year cap. Minus time served.

The letters were not admissible in court because the court determined they were probably not written by Travis. They were hand delivered to the Enquirer by Jodi's mother. As far as the cat story I shared, that was told today and apparently the cat didn't die. Just wanted to clarify on that story since I gave false info :)
Still think she's a psycho! I have heard about the ex boyfriend from PD. Did he testify? I've been wanting to hear him speak but can't find him on any talk shows yet.

This is all getting bizzare, Elise...a white car, with cool aid residue and floor mattts missing...thankfully, the law does not allow for voodoo inferences...oh, did you hear the blurb on Nancy Grace, rumors of Jody being involved in Witchcraft

Did you catch the bald older Mormorn guy, who supposedly dated her and mentioned that he slipped his finger through the top of her jeans and noted she was wearing a thong, not Mormon protective underwear

Jurors are instructed to not watch any news coverage, which is a tall order for many jurors to follow, particularly with this media blitz which is turning into a lynch mob .. can she even get a fair trial..a mistrial could easily result, this jury should have been sequestered

The Dep DA posecuting this case no doubt is a great attorney and presenting the case in the usual methodical method, but I suspect he may not be connecting with the jury on a personal basis. Yes, this factor does come into play in trials. He's somewhat robotic and lacks charm.

I see Jody's attorney's much more real and personable. Oh, btw, goodmorning Elise:) Did you catch the defense attorney on Nancy Grace last evening, opine on Jody's attorneys running the case (strategy wise) at this point in the trial. Even, Nancy reluctantly agreed.

Is Dr Drew, who I normaly like, getting on anyone's nerves with this repeated Psycopathy diagnosis and his staqed panels which repeat the obvious. He also had a new game face last evening, masking his groove for Jody.
