They should weigh in passages, and charge them accordingly; bimbos get an extra surcharge.

Hey stop complaining. Consider the extras you get when flying these days. The fun apparently starts in the pocket of the middle seat. First prize for a dirty diaper that has been there a day or two.

When I found one, I thought it was a unique situation. Not so. Just heard this on NPR. npr.org/templates/story/story.php...

I say bravo for them. People need to understand airlines are in the " transportation business" not a flying hotel with a restaurant onboard.Bring your own food, drink and blanket and shut the hell up.

The worst thing about this whole scenario? Congress is refusing to step-in to protect American consumers. Congressmen and their wealthy donors won't have to pay these bag fees by the way. Members of these airlines upper tiers of frequent flier clubs are exempt from the fees.

well honestly, they HAVE to make the charge, in order to cover their fuel. realistically, the customer will pay whatever it costs to keep the airplanes in the air; to keep the airline in business. this is not for profit, poeple; this is proportionate to fuel costs!!! and yes it sux, i am in school and dont have a awhole lot of money.... but what are you gonna do? honestly.
