Temecula Fire Expected To Be Contained Monday

A fire that burned about 150 acres south of Temecula is expected to be 100 percent contained by Monday night, authorities said.

We live in the back country, so to help get information, we bought a hand held scanner from Radio Shack, got the programming in, and can listen CHP,MEDICAL,FORESTRY,ETC. Which helps, if I am working or away from home, since I have to family members who are disabled.
I can act quick with a phone call to get them evcuated if needed.
I can also notify friends, family so they can get home also by hearing what roads are closed, and they can take alternate roads.
I want to say Thank you to all the emergency personal's and departments for all their hard work, and the pilots and dispatchers. They do work hard and earn every cent they are paid.

scared ive never been a part of something like this... and it can be very frightening :( well i hope it rains with osme kind of miracle.:)
im praying for all of the evacuatd families and for everery one who could be evacuated

my daughter lives near pala resort said just got a reverse 911 call but did not say anything. is this evacuation request???
