I'll admit my husband and I were sucked in by the prospect of a free carpet cleaning demo since we intended to hire cleaners when we moved out in a few months to take care of some spills and stains that proved nearly impossible to get out by hand. We were very impressed with the Kirby and ended up purchasing it, however the next morning we woke up in a fit of buyers remorse and immediately sent the cancellation notice. They arrived within a couple days to pick up the vacuum but we have yet to receive our deposit as promised. Anyone have this problem?

I just went to their orientation today before my mother found this site. I am 21 and my fiance of three years just left me. I am now forced to live with my parents until I can get back on my feet. I really, really need a job. However, this is just a scam. Everything in these comments is completely true based upon what i was told today. I will say though people, please try not to be too hard on the employees. They are being lied to! Like, hardcore lied to. Many of the people at orientation today were not the brightest people and didn't have their mothers to look stuff like this up. I was so desperate I didn't look them up either. Right now they are going by the name Q.C.S.I. BUT it is the same address and phone number listed in this forum. PLEASE don't go to them looking for a job. They change their name for a reason. I didn't even know that they were Kirby until I was already at orientation.

Hi, I applied to the ad I saw yesterday called 'Spring Cleaning Rush!' It was weird because there wasn't a lot of details on it besides a number. When I called they said they were conducting interviews that day and I thought it was strange. Recently I just got out of the Marine Corps but I prided myself in research and knowing more about what I am about to get myself into. I do not know much about this company besides what I have read on their official site, a few scam articles, and here. Despite everything I would like to be employed. I am due to go to an orientation with them on Thursday next week. I do not want to make a bad choice but I have never prided myself on forcing people to see things my way much less buy my product. If anyone has advice for me about this company, please E-mail me at crazievikki2000@yahoo.com I would appreciate it very much. Thank you all for your feedback.

when i got the job for kirby the lady who interviewed me made it sound GREAT!$18 an hour, paid vacations and not to mention durring training we were told we would make at least 1800 a month, but the second they took us in the van out to camp penelton (note theyve gotten in trouble many times for trying to sell kirbys out there in the first place)it started raining!! and the person that dropped us off wouldnt pick us up till we made a sale, i could not stop crying!we stayed out there all day long, worst experience everr do not work for mr. cooper! all he cares about is ripping people off not his employees.

Rats! I was taken, and knew it while it was happening. I was polite but insisted that I had no intention of buying one. The salesguy (Joe) ended up leaving without the promised carpet shampooing. He pretended his boss wanted him to leave and come back later. "This has never happened before!" he said. Yeah, right. I was wondering why he asked for a glass of water and wanted to use MY phone (claimed he didnt get service). Now I get they wanted my number, but why the water? To distract me? Havent noticed anything missing, but I have been setting my alarm when I leave AND have notified my neighborhood watch group...

The fact that there exists bad apples in this world of ours, is upsetting to me as well. but please dont compare those misfits, to those of us that have honored the American free enterprise system for years. If you think the pricing of our superior cleaning products are out of your range....DONT BUY THEM!But at the same time you will dismayed at the fact the very car you are driving and purchased for $25,000, left Detroit ,manufactured for less than $8000. Now thats quite a markup!!Not all of us direct salespeople are unethical. Some of us hold ourselves to a much higher standard, answering to a much higher authority. Still, there will be those that are of a different opinion, having had a different experience, and that is unfortunate. But if you truly feel your family deserves the best doggone cleaning machine money can buy, one that will outlast its original owner......Give them a try! Millions of satisfied customers since 1914....CANT BE WRONG!

we bought one our machine work fine our house actually looks a lot better maybe if you took the time to see how much money this product saves and you know a few months later i lost my job and then filled out an application for this company and now i'm making around1,500 on average a week and last year i made a great amount of money from the qcsi company...... and the reason we ask for water is because we are outside knocking door's in the sun so maybe we are thirsty? did u think of that? and actually we don't stalk anyone in any neighborhood we just try to find nice people to help out and make there lives better as well as ours

THE BEST WAY TO GET THESE PEOPLE OUT OF YOUR HOUSE:

1. If you're still at the first door stage, tell them that you don't have any more carpet in your house.

2. If they're already in your house, and they refuse to leave and keep trying to call for more "backup", tell them to leave. Don't be polite.
If they refuse, remind them that by not leaving when you ask, they are trespassing on your private property, and thus committing a crime.
Once you inform them of this, tell them again to leave or else you will be calling the police.

I've never seen these scumbags flee faster in my life.

About six years ago we had a salesmen come in and do the hard sell with the Kirby. I had been using my mother-in-law's 15 year old model so was interested in upgrading cuz I loved the vacuum. I ended up buying it for $650. I know they start trying to get you to pay $2,400 but having previous experience paid off. I received the shampoo, buffer, accessory package and extra shampoo bottles. When I told my husband, he was surprised because his mother had purchased the original one for $1,500. Still works outstanding, but I ended up winning a Dyson animal in a Lowes contest, and find it is much better in its weight, bagless convenience, and its easy to use hose. I agree with others, you can not let strangers into your home. I knew about the carpet cleaning lead-in so went outside to "wheel and deal". No reason for strangers to be in your home unless You solicit Them. Save yourself the effort and buy a Dyson though. Was a Kirby fan until I received that Dyson!!!!

Apparently this group came to my door this even- ing! The female did not want to take no for an answer and then started to ask questions that I thought were rather personal, when I said that my wife took care of most things regarding the inside of the house. At this I just ask to see their solicitors license and then she replied, that she did not have it with her and it was in her jacket. I turned like I was talking to someone and said to call 911 and at that they left in a hurry. Later I took a photo of the white van that picked them up! Of the persons that I saw, the group were all of the Negro race.
The Negro Race?!! This is outrageously racist.

Okay I understand that most of you dislike kirby. But in all honesty it is an amazing product. The company is a lot of hours and a strictly commission based job so as many demos you can get the better. I personally work at qcsi and I'm not saying everyone there is perfect but just like there are rude people in all locations there are also hard working people simply trying to make a living. No this is not an excuse to lie and be pushy at the door. But it is a big help if you just let them do the cleaning. And no you don't have to buy the product. Do we want you to?? Yes. But do you have to? No. Simple as that. Ps. Most people in the office are super nice so idk what everyones talking about.
