I have lived here for a year and a half moved from Tustin. Police here are like the Police there from my experience and what we all need to do is understand as best we can what our law enforcement & fire/ life safety have to deal with daily that makes it hard It hard to smile and to sleep at times for them.
Some of these complaints about Police are true I'm sure but they are exceptions not the rule. We all need to be helpful and understandi what these fine people have to deal with.

The Temecula Police Dept. is writing a massive amount of tickets and my opinion they are told to. They need money and the driving public is where that revenue is coming from. I have a gut feeling that law enforcement would rather spend more time going after the bad guys than writing cell phone tickets. The State Legislature is also helping us all in these tough economic times by raising the costs for fines. Outrageous and excessive these fines are and a hardship to all of us working stiffs. Someone needs to fund these pensions I guess. Maybe we just need to layoff Police?

I would love it if they layed off all police and just let us live anyway we wanted. Because then we could go back a century and live and die by the sword, or gun I guess. If I needed a new car, well down to the dealership and take it because there would be no threat of jail. This would be sweet, kinda like Mad Max. Oh one could only hope...

I have fought successfully in traffic court and have found the judges to be very fair but you need to be prepared. I won both cases and two different courts, Corona & Temecula.
We have lawmakers that want to prey on the public for revenue using law enforcement? You have the power in your vote.

Our elected officials both local and state, know where they stand and how they vote. Just watch what will happen to the Republican's in Congress
In the upcoming elections. We with our vote will send them packing and send a very strong message to those who put party before country.

Local and state elected officials beware because we are watching and will hold all accountable..

Take a look at Kalifornia.... it is run by Democrats who gave the state away to the unions. It seems the Democrats put votes and getting reelected ahead of doing the right thing.

I was in a short term relationship with a Temecula cop and he ended up being one of the most racist people that I met. He made racist comments all the time about mexicans in the area and how they are all up to no good. That if he saw one he could find something to ticket them for.
I also know a woman Temecula cop who brags on other boards about how she and her partner has fun harassing people for the hell of it. All they did was accidently cut them off because they were in her blind spot. She posts about how they toyed with her after that and exadurated what they wrote her up for. I didn't think she was very bright for posting about that on a public e-board but I guess people get brave when they think their identity is hiden from the public.

I would guess that if one obeyed the "rules of the road", one may just drive for a LONG time without getting pulled over and getting a ticket!

I simply offer a "clue" as to how to avoid expensive traffic tickets...take it for what it's worth.

BTW, "working stiffs" would include police officers, right?

Go ahead, lay off cops. Just don't call 911 if you have a "problem"! I don't. Because RSO response time where I live is sooo slooow.....they want to make an "appointment" to deal with my issue. I just grab my gun, and my flashlight, and step outside to deal with things myself! Let the Coroner, DA, and courts figure it out later....if I shoot, I gaurantee you it will be a well placed and "justified" kill!

Sorry if this is a bit harsh, but I live in reality.....

That's what I am talking about. All these people whine about getting speeding tickets when they are speeding and such. I personally prefer to handle my business without cops, kinda like the above comment, I live in RSO area and they take forever, so I go outside and handle it and if need be bring your constitutionally allowed firearm to defend your home, property, and family. I would only call the cops if they needed to pick up a body from my property. The problem these days lay with the citizens that rely too much on police. If you have a problem, try to address it yourself and as a last resort call the cops. Problem is everyone is afraid of a little confrontation these days and keeps their heads tucked inside their turtle shell.

I am an ex cop, if you dig deep into each incident and get all of the details you will usually find there is usually more to the story than the "poor victims" are claiming. Most people who are not doing anything wrong don't run into problems. There are exceptions to everything. Don't be too quick to label all of the "cops" as bad cops.
After all, who you do you call to check out the noises in your back yard, in the middle of the night ?
Next time go outside for yourself and see what it feels like to walk around your house, in the dark, trying to protect someone who could care less if you got shot or not.
Remember the cop is everyones "daddy" when they are doing something wrong. He or she may not be perfect but they will give their life so you can sleep safe at night.
That's a load of crap. The cops out here are nothing but kids that where picked on in school, took joined a gym and harass people.

Well let me know when a Temecula
officer knocks on your door and allows your x to come in with five of her friends and take whatever. I told her I was just getting ready to leave and i was expecting my x yesterday as previously discussed. She said and I quote "Bullshit!Shes getting her stuff now or later! My friend actually answered the door first and asked the officer to come in she adimently said no! My friend then went to shut the door saying "give me one minute officer". The officer placed her foot in door way and said "dont you shut that door!" She had her hand on hresting on her gun. She gave us no options or choices. She opened the door allowed people(some i didnt know) to come in raid my house taking my stuff as well as my guests. This was in the presence of children. Nope I could go on but she has violated my civil rights and my guests. She was biased, rude, unprofessional, and failed to secure my property and the safety of my guests.Absolutely violated her code of ethics and clearly misconduct of an officer of Temecula.

I have been pulled over several times by the s***bag cops in Temecula. The first time a car cut be off crossing Winchester from the mall, so i made a right hand turn to avoid hitting the car( i was in a rental that i only had for 20min). While being pulled over I was asked several times when the last time i scored drugs. Now, at the time i was still active duty in the Navy, and had just returned from Afghanisan on a nine month deployment. I found the whole thing very offencive. They didnt pull over the car that caused the whole thing.

What I'm reading on here just acknowledges my feelings. She was rude biased and intimidating in front of my children. All i did was answer the damn door. Officer misconduct and breaking of her own code of ethics all over the place.
