What did they expect when a high school opens across from an adult casino? What has happened to
Temecula? Been here for 20 years and I do not like what the politicians have done to our city! Thanks

I too believe that there are many problems arising in the Temecula area that need to be focused on. First we had the public restroom stings and now a school scandal. Whats next? I thought that this was a conservative/religious based community. Hummmm. I believe that counsel member PRAT was right when he wanted to stop the growth of Temecula. Is it too late? I will comment in the coming years from some other town, as I read about Temecula in the future.

This has nothing to do with Pechanga. It does have much to do about the fact that this janiter can do this and get PAID leave instead of being fired. PAID LEAVE! Why isn't anyone here complaining about that?

I agree, it's an outrage that Robert Taylor Jr., an obviously guilty criminal of the lowest and worst kind was placed on administrative leave! I would love to know why and also who was responsible for that decision. Being caught in the act, WITH A MINOR, should have been grounds for his immediate termination! He has clearly revealed himself as being a sexual predator. He has clearly committed a crime against a child!

Thank you for that support. We should all worry about the welfare of these kids and do something about this. Why does a janitor get treated like a teacher might? That is beyond me! Do they really get the same rights as what teachers work so hard to aquire? All though I believe anyone in a school setting caught with a minor doing anything illegal should be fired.

Where are the 15 year olds parents? Why is a 15 year old out at 1:00 in the morning, on a school night? Parents need to be held accountable also. A boy this age has no business out at that time of night!

So true but it is a plague here. So many teens with working or self absorbed parents. I know parents who have told their children after getting caught stealing just NOT to get caught next time. Some have parents that want to live like teens themselves so bad that they don't care if the kid is at home or "at a friends" as long as it serves their purpose. I know parents who have multiple kids that are in trouble with the law and they still can't see what is REALLY going on in their kids lives. USE MYSPACE AS A TOOL PARENTS!! Make your own page! Cross reference what your kids tell you they are doing with their friends comment pages!! There is so much information in front of your faces!!! Whatever you all do WAKE UP!!!

I just wanted to correct the arrested man's name, because I'd gotten it wrong. Apologies. The name is not Robert, it's ROGER TAYLOR, JR. of San Jacinto California.

Right now this is not about the minor's parents, it's not about the locality of the school, it's not about time of day or night, it's not about children using computers; it's only about ROGER TAYLOR JR., an adult man, being caught by the police in the act of committing a sex crime against a 15 year old male minor child. ROGER TAYLOR JR. should have been relieved of his duties as janitor IMMEDIATELY, not placed on leave. This isn't hearsay; HE WAS CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF HAVING SEX WITH A MINOR! He shouldn't recieve any further salary except for time he worked prior to being caught having sex with this minor child. He should be punished to the fullest extent allowed by law. THIS IS ONLY ABOUT ROGER TAYLOR, JR OF SAN JACINTO BEING CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF COMMITTING A SEX CRIME AGAINST A 15 YEAR OLD MINOR MALE CHILD.

I have also lived in the valley for 20+ years and raised my children here. Not anymore! My youngest two will spend the rest of their youth living in piece somewhere else! Not afraid to play outside in their own yard! I am discusted by all that has gone on here! Seems this is a dumping ground for all sexual offenders! We will be sitting back watching all of Temecula, Murrieta, Winchester and Hemet go to hell in a hand basket!

I could not agree with you more. This man needs to be punished to the fullest, but at the same time I do agree with the others. Parents do need to pay more attention to their children's wereabouts because of people like ROGER TAYLOR JR. Parents to need to open their eyes and realize there are more ROGER TAYLORS out there and we can not just let our children comb the streets whenever they feel they want too. It is our job as parents to protect our children from preditors like ROGER TAYLOR JR. and the many others out there like him. He was caught punish him big time, NO PAY, NO JOB , FIRED! TERMINATED!, JAIL TIME, REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER, throw the book at him.

I looked at a sex offender database and noticed that there plenty of sex offenders in and around Murietta. Nice place to raise kids.

I want to clarify something I said earlier. I made a statement that this was only about Roger Taylor Jr. being caught in the act of committing a sex crime against a minor child. What I meant is that he is the only person who committed a crime. He committed a crime regardless of whether this minor was a "willing" participant or not, regardless of whether it was day or night, regardless of where it took place. Roger Taylor Jr is the adult who is guilty of breaking the law. The minor and his family, of course, need heartfelt counseling and prayer. We as a community need to be aware and watch out for the youth. I again thank and applaud the Temecula Police Department for a job well done in stopping this criminal act from continuing. We and our children are safer because of their good work.

T TOO! have been in the hemet town for a long time.We all need to get together and protect our children as much as possible. It'll be cool if we all could come up with somthing to protect our children better.I Have 3 children and definately are concerned with the preditors in my area.14

This so saddens me to read waht happened here.My fanily has lived here for 30 years when everyone knew each other and you could leave your front door unlocked and know that nothing will happen. There was 300 people here. Our kids grew up there and it was great and safe.I am so sorry to see this happen.Parents need to control their kids better and teach them more on respect for them and themselves,I know its more difficult they say,but I see parents around with kids that make me appreciate those who show a good example to theirs.More need to think about how much they are responible for their childrens acts.

What can be done about this area being a dumping ground for preditors? Is it true that many parolees are sent to this area straight from completing their prison terms? Something HAS to be done about that NOW or it will go from bad to worse in a hurry. Does anyone know the real scoop here??
