Hey Mortimer, Chris Garner, Dave Hudgens and Bob Coates ARE our current board. It should be noted however, that when it was discovered that Blazer was using POA employees for personal work, Garner was new to the board so don't be too hard on him for not speaking up. Coates and Hudgens are a differnet story and deserve full credit for Blazer still being here.

Chris Garner is a good guy and as far as I know, the only one with any morals on the Board. He really cares and is a "Stand Up Guy". Sad we do not have a few more of him and sad he will be out of office at the end of this year.

Strange. When I went to about site, did not tell me much. Checked Strawberry Plains for list of compaines in the area, no listing for Solid Construction. Went to the Yellow Pages, same results. Do tell me this company works out of a pick up truck, can anyone that had work done by them provide a telephone number or address? I think this is just a front and the company is only on paper. Gonna check the white pages and see what I come up with.

The Secretary of State business license roster shows 2 companies with the name Solid Construction. One in Strawberry Plains (Lutringer's own it) and one in Philadelphia, TN which Gary Haas is the principal. Gary Haas is the person doing much of the work for the POA. He is best friends with Jeff Gagley. They both live in Philadelphia. Hope this helps.

Okay. But since they have no Yellow or White Pages listing, they must only be doing work in the Village. Think I might have to call Gary Haas and see if he can do some work for me, if his number is listed anywhere.

Yes, these wonderful folks are in Strawberry Plains. You can get this info from the website of the Secretary of State, Tennessee. The documents are called The Charter and The Corporation Annual Report. Unlike TV this info and documents are easily obtainable, there is no "valid purpose requirement".

Solid Construction is based in Loudon just behind the Harrison Dairy Farm at the end of the Parkway. It's misinformation like this that gets folks stirred up like all of you are. And just how is Tellico Dirt Works tied to Winston Blazer? Anyone care to explain? Could it be that TDW has been an important part of the building of the Village since it's inception? Could it be that they offer quality work at a cheaper price than anyone...saving the POA thousands of dollars? And TDW has been working in and building the Village since before Winston ever thought of working there? The conspiracy theories and pie-in-the-sky accusations are a perfect example of why locals think all of you are loud-mouthed snobs. Most of you are great people. It's the few rotten apples that spoil the barrel. And unfortunately, it's those who spew off at the mouth the most.

Better yet...just fire ALL POA employees and hire property owners. They do such a fine job with the fire department. It seems like that's what each of you want.
Consider yourselves lucky that you have such great employees who have dedicated their lives and time to YOU. After hours calls, sixteen to eighteen hour days, listening to your ungrateful lips spouting trash like I read in this post.
Find one company who doesn't have a problem employee or two. I'll wait..........

You are not knowledgeable of the facts. When we built our house the guy that did the job - owner of Tellico Dirt Works told us that if the POA was not involved, we would only be charged $1,500 for our septic system, but the POA gets $6,000. That is a fact. A friend of ours built his house and had some rock where they were installing his septic system. Tellico Dirt Works charged $15,000 and he got bids for approximately $4,000 and $5,000. Big difference. The POA would not allow any one else to put in the septic system so he had to spend the $15,000. These are facts, where do you get your information.

You must be Winston Blazer or his relatives writing this. No one has said anything about getting rid of all the employees. The only comments on this forum are to get rid of the problem employee and that is Winston Blazer. Maybe you need some reading glasses.

Here is the problem. Stupid people like the one that posted the above information, making up lies. Gary Haas is Solid Construction and he lives in Philadelphia, TN and is a very good friend of Jeff Gagley's. Why is this person having a coronary over the fact Solid Construction is in Philadelphia or behind the Dairy Farm or if he is friends with Jeff. Who Cares.

Do you know what the remainder of the money charged by the POA is for? How about a water meter, a meter box, water line, a septic tank, vault, riser, pump, wiring, control panel, and contractors charge. What the owner didn't tell you is that was HIS charge for installing it. It did NOT include any materials, which are rather expensive. He could barely buy the pump for $1500. I do know the facts...thank you very much. Worked there before.

No relation to Blazer. Typical response from a misguided and misinformed property owner...just as I expected. Get rid of 'em all. Yankees ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

Just for your information, we called on the cost of the pump and bought directly, the cost is approximately $700

Because one of you idiots made a big deal of it, accusing him of living in Strawberry Plains. And so what if he is Jeff's friend or not. Can't someone make friends with someone they work with for many years? Did you ever have any friends at work? Probably not. I would say no one liked you in Michigan either.

You still do not have the facts because we called directly to the place that sells the pumps and they will sell them for approximately $700. Yes, you are right about the other parts that go into the system, but $6,000. I do not think so. The POA is making a profit.
