Well, it's been a little over a year. We are funding someone to provide a new website. Didn't know they wore out so fast. In the meantime the site is down.

Anyone know who approved this? Anyone know what it cost?

According to the rumor mill, the new web site will explain to us on how the village intends to market the village world wide and along with doing that, milk a few more dollars out of us for Winston and the board to enjoy life on the high side. Duh?

Winston or one of his girl friends must have had a kid who recently graduated from college and needed a job. Their vain attempts to sell this shit hole in today's economic crisis is a joke. They have killed the goose that was layignt heir golden eggs and now they think they can lure unsuspecting victims in tol pour more money down the same rat holes that has caused many to cut their losses and abandon their investments in TV propertyrather than throw away even more money on property that is losing value every day. Earth to the POA Board. You have allowed Winston Blazer and his psychophants to b leed this place dry. You have followed his lead and raised dues and other costs until you have passed the point of diminishing returns. I know none of you know what that means but take my word for it. A few yeqars ago. TVPOA's income was over $16 million per year. Today, even with all these dues increases, it's income is less than $14 million. Unless you want to preside over tellico Vilage's bankruptcy proceedings, I suggest you get yourself informed, find a competent manager, who knows how to manage, get rid of most of the unnescessary employees who are on the payroll for reasons other than need or competency, curtail all this wild spending, and start reducign the costs of owning proeprty in this place. Tellico Village is on it's way down hill. Just look at it. Unkempt common properties and undeveloped lots. Overbuilt, over priced and under used amenities that 3 out of 4 residents can't afford to use, and streets in disrpair due to a fraudulent "repaving" deal that nobody has yet addressed. It now costs less to build in Rarity Bay than it does to build here. And their dues are half what ours are. They don't have to pay to build ther own amenities because ours are now open tho them.(Thank you TV proeprty owners for being so good to them.) Just who do you think is dumb enough to buy here whent hey can build in a prrestigous development for less. Telico Vilage has a wid spread reputation for being a b ad sene. Don't beleive me. Just tell someone in power in the surrounding area that you live here and their first words will be, "I hear it costs a lot to own property there." Some oneonce said that insanity was doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. That describes our management and BOD. Have a nice day dumb asses.

It was discussed at the Finance Meeting. The POA paid $30,000 to a marketing group that handled getting the new website done. The POA paid $15,000 just two years ago to have it redone. Every two years another $15 to $30 thous. Now explain to me why we have to have the web site re done very two years.

Need don't have nothin to do with it. The need was to syphen off some more money to pay for a non existant need. Does anyone know if POA is still spraying water on the streets and calling it reclimate? Hey BOD. Our backs are against the wall. Don't you idiots know the difference between wants and needs? Us property owners just want to be able to live in our over priced homes without having to get jobs to suplement our SS, We don't need no more spending on anything else. Who the hell pays any attention to that damned website anyway. It is just for propaganda. I don't believe nothing them lying fools say. If they told the truth they'd admit they are robbing us blind.

Better yet, explain why we paid the first web designer (Robin Ester)$15k and now the Tombras Group $30k for a website that any competent local web developer could have done for $2,000. And there are many in Knoxville. The newest website is good, but nothing technically difficult about it. This is just another example of our illustrious POA management squandering our money away again.

Just wait till the end of 2013 after the $400,000 has been spent and there is little to show for results except for the bills. There are going to be a lot of screaming people that are going to realize they could have had a new improvement in the village instead of wasting the money on this advertising albatross.

You could have gotten the guy who built the website for the watchdog group....he lives here and probably would have done it for free.

On second thought, the way they were treated, I doubt he would do the web site for free or pay. Too bad because he's a talented guy and would have done an outstanding job.

$30,000 for a website? Could have had that for $2500. Are we still advertising to our target audience at Smokies games? We have some real geniuses working for us.
