Just want to say, how ashamed an on how Tell City High School handles kids being bullied. A special education student who attends the school, was in the weight room, which is one of his classes, working out, when several other boys approached him and took the weights he was bench pressing and forced them onto him, holding them down in him where he couldnt breath. The whole time these boys were calling him names like "Retard!" They finnally let him up, but continued to call him a f@cking retard. They special educating boy couldn't take it anymore and punched the boy in the mouth. Finally a teacher steps in. Don't know why these boys were unattended, and a teacher was not even in the room, which is a big no no.
The special education boy is 19, and was arrested for assault. The other boys threatened that they were going to kill him when they see him out.
I understand him getting arrested, because he is "consiserd" an adult and the other boy is only 17.
Here's the problem I have. The boys patents had been to school numerous times telling the school there son was being bullied. The boys uncle had been to school more than once telling the school his nephew was being bullied.
How did the school reply? They told everyone the special education child was at fault, because that was the easiest way to handle it and brush it under the rug.
The school even went as far as threatening the boy in the office for defending him self,
The boy who was holding the weights down on the other kid, I won't mention his name, but his dad was killed in KY for being a bully himself. Guess he gets it honest.
What happened to ZERO tolerance Tell City high school? The school should of stepped in and defended the boy long ago!
