Nice try but the truth is that wars are usually about religion you just need to educate yourself about the "real" history of society (and you will not find it in any bible of any religion). Money, power, and religion go hand and hand and once you realize that little fact then everything else will suddenly make more sense to you. Religion was created by "control freaks" to scare people so they could control them. Politicians use this fear, gloom, and doom sterategy all the time just like religions use it.
I see you are still under the delusion of an invented reality. You need to face the real facts, not what you have been spoonfed for years.

Science may not be able to provide the how and why to everything....yet. It probably will one day if our species lives long enough. You see one of the big differences between religion and science is that religion is static and science is dynamic.

Religion says here is a book, contained within is the word of god which explains the hows and whys of your existence and the rules to live by until you go to heaven. To question it is heresy.
Science on the other hand says we really can't give you a book yet because we are always learning new things and revising and expanding our knowledge. What we can give you this constantly updating library of information consisting of scientific fact, and many hypothesis and theories we are still trying to understand fully.

God is an alien man, a righteous alien from a far away galaxy. I saw it said best by an anonymous quote on Facebook that read somewhat like this:

To say that there is no other life in the universe is to take a cup of water out of the ocean and claim that whales don't exist.

I hope I just blew your mind

One day science will prove that the Bible is correct.

Hey Smelled, can you back this theory up? I think it has been established that wars are not fought for religion. To deny that is jejune. I don't know (or care) if you have a quarrel with religion, but be factual. Stand and deliver some proof that wars are fought for religion? Study up before you make such broad statements. You might learn something!

Actually my friend that's all there is. You can't "convince" people into believing in faith. You either have faith or you don't. Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes from the word of God. So if you want to get faith you need to hear a preacher preach from the word of God. One thing is certain argueing about it has never "convinced" anybody. If you want proof and evidence look at the faith of perfectly normal reasonable people. Someone saying, "the Bible is true" that's the only proof you get. You can choose whether you want to believe or not it's up to you. But if you ever do chose to believe it, then you will see it. That's faith. Believe first and then you can understand.

Or that it's a load of crap invented to control the masses, or something in between.
Either way, science will eventually get to the truth because inquisitive and logical minds never stop asking questions and seeking the answers to those questions..

Science and religion walk hand in hand. To have one doesn't mean to be lacking in the other..

Sure it does, the two conflict each other at many crossroads such as creationism v. evolution.
If God had his way we'd all still be running around naked and blind, kinda hard to split an atom or invent the internet when you can't see what you're doing and have no protective clothing.

A very important member of my family who has since passed away at age 98 was a lifelong scientist and after working at Oak Ridge in TN during WWII he went on to work for NASA at Cape Canaveral during the space race. He was a brilliant scientist and one of the most devout Christians I've ever known. You don't have to choose sides between religion or science, that's nonsense. Many feel a passion toward science and faith, their faith drives them in their pursuit of scientific knowledge. You're taking a stance as if one contradicts the other. As for evolution, it's just a theory, not scientific fact. As for creation, it's basically a theory too since science has hypothesized the garden of Eden may be located where the Pursian Gulf has now flooded. Who knows? Nobody does for sure.

I never said anyone should choose a side. I said the two contradict each other at many crossroads, which they do. The big bang v. intelligent design, evolution v. creationism. I'm not saying they always contradict each other but they do about some things. We do agree about one thing though, nobody knows for sure....(yet?)

Once again, I see the atheist extremist cannot defend the actual science of evolution.

(Actual science disproves it)

So, they puff themselves up in an attempt at self importance and proceed to spout off a bunch of philosophical verbiage that they think makes them look clever and worldly.

At least in their minds it does, anyway.

To the rest of us, it proves how ignorant the atheist usually are where science is concerned. They replace science with philosophy and try to convince us that they equate to be the same.

What does the cause of wars in history have to do with evolution and science? Banded Iron formations, Pangea, fossils, or even the flaws in radiometric dating?

Hint...nothing at all.

And that is what we see time after time from the atheist in these evolution discussions.. They cannot hang with a conversation about the science of evolution, so they attack the Bible on philosophical grounds.

What does this add to the conversation? The same...nothing at all.
