My shopping experience at Wal-Mart
>
>
> I think most people sooner or later shop at Wal-Mart. I did once, but I’ll never go there again. On May 22 this year, I shopped at the Wal-Mart on A Street in Anchorage. After I’d unloaded my shopping cart, I put the cart back in its place, but was unaware I’d left my purse (a little black back pack type) in it. I left the parking lot and after 10-15 minutes, realized I’d left my bag containing my wallet with checks,$430 in cash, credit card, driver’s license, and brand new iPhone. I went back as quickly as possible!
>
> When I returned, there weren’t any carts on the spot, and my back pack was gone. I ran inside to Customer Service and asked if anybody had brought in a black back pack? They said no and asked where did I leave it. I explained in the cart. They said there is no way I’d find it if I’d left it in the parking lot so I asked them to call the police. They refused and said it’s not their responsibility, so I asked them to call their store security. The Security man (who didn’t really look like security) asked me some questions and said he was sorry, but he couldn’t help. He also said he couldn’t call the police to help.
>
> I asked some customers nearby if they could call the police and one lady suggested to call to my phone. She said there might be a chance whoever found my purse would answer my phone and return it. No one answered and I never heard the ringing. I was frantic and upset and started crying asking someone to please call the police. I was begging for 25-30 minutes when a kind man offered to call and help me find my purse. I told him the iPhone in my bag has a program to show its location, and also that a policeman might be able to assist me with reviewing the security camera videos. The gentleman started to dial the number when suddenly the Customer service girl who was now ignoring me and attending to other people raised my purse from behind the counter and said “are you looking for this??” I was shocked. My Phone, documents, and wallet were there, but clearly it had been disorganized and my cash was gone. I couldn’t believe this whole time the two customer service women were be able to see my purse, but said they didn’t know anything about it! I’d never heard the sound of my phone ring when I called because it was shut down. I then realized those Wal-Mart people lied to me. I believe they didn’t want to give me my purse back and they took money. I was appalled, tired and disappointed and left.
>
> The next day I decided to be nice and talk to the manager of the store instead to going to the police and asked to look at the security video and find out who found the bag and why their employees didn’t give me my back pack right away when I asked them about it. He listened and promised to help. The next day he called me back and said that he had some information, but he needed to talk to his supervisor because he couldn’t decide what to do with what he had. After 5 days he called and said there is no video of any of their employees having my purse, so somebody else must have taken the money. He said it probably happened when my purse still was in the cart and some customers took the cash.
>
> I said that I don’t believe neither their customer service employees nor to him, and if I’d left customer service sooner that day, I would have lost everything. So Ladies and Gentlemen, be very careful when you go shopping to Wall Mart. They all liars!

I srtongly recommend Walmart. Walmart is a reputable business. It stays behind every product and has a great customer service. I used to shop Publix grocery store in Ft Lauderdale. Publix made me sick and paid not even a penny for my medical bill. After January 2012, I became a customer of Walmart. I love Walmart and its curtious employees..

Sterotyping...that's like saying everybody who has a tattoo is a gangmember or that someone who drink's alcohol must be an alcoholic.

I have never faced racisim as I have today. I went to Walmart on Wheatland Rd today to buy Dog Food (they have the cheapest prices) and I was in one line to check out (black lady) and after I put my stuff on the counter she put her blinking light on and sent me to another checkout. As soon as I put my stuff on the counter again, She (another black lady) called a black man over and started checking him out over my stuff on the counter. I blew a gasket and called a spade a spade. Everytime I have ever gone to this walmart they have shown racisim towards white people. So if you are white, expect it at the Walmart on Wheatland Rd across from Charlton Methodist Hospital. Those uneducated, minimum wage black people are not friendly towards white people.
