Hello, I have posted the Frustrated Father Lost Innocence as the only way a Father can vent legally and warn others both parents and children that there are so many predators seeking any way they can to hust or children, mentally challenged, elderly and anyone else they can use for their self gradification primarily sexually assault. If you too have had similar situation needing to vent, I understand.

For me one of the most appualing things was the parents who knew before we spoke with them that they had already been approached by two different fathers for two different girls addressing them about their sons behavior. WHY DID THE PARENTS COMTINUE TO ALLOW THEIR ADULT SON WORK WITH AND AROUND CHILDREN EVEN AFTER WE CONFRONTED THEM IN FRONT OF A WITNESS.

POST YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS AND REMEMBER TO TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN LET, FIND OUT HOW THEY ARE DOING MAKE IT CLEAR NOBODY EVER SHOULD TOUCH THEM EVER. REMEMBER MANY TIMES OTHER CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN ABUSED AND THEIR INNOCENCE LOST CAN NOW BE A THREAT TO YOUR CHILDRENS INNOCENCE.

Hello Wayne, I hope in writing Frustrated Father Lost Innocence that others espeically parents aware of all these predators. Many think after Looking at the Sex Offender site they know where they all are. Not true, Megan's Law Website is a good site, but they notify the public of the offenders who have been caught. It is my opinion that there are at least 10 times that number not yet caught. I hope all is going well with you neighbors in Old West Ranch after the fires. Have a good week.

I find it absolutely incredible that Shane Reed was ever voted into office in the first place. The Kern County Fire Fighters UNION payed for a big fancy mail piece that was sent to all the voters that showed the obligatory hero firefighter on the front. Now, I know that the vast majority of our firefighters are heros but they don't seek out acclaim. BUT, Shane Reed did.

Everytime there was a fire that pervert was first on the scene and posting pictures on the Tehachapi news blogs. And, someone, probably one of his made up names, said, "Oh Shane you are our hero." How sickening is that. About the made up names??? This pervert screwup would post a blog. If no one commented he would have one of his made up characters post a comment then he would proceed to have conversations with himself! The editor at the Tehachapi News knew all about his hijinks and trouble making and his lies but she allowed it to continue. Hell, most people in town that grew up with this creep knew how screwed up he was, that he is the town bully who slashes tires, stalks people, tries to intimidate and terrorize them, and didn't do anything to stop him.

What I just don't understand is, and with all due respect to firemen, have we become so stupid as American voters that we would vote for someone simply because he is a fireman??? Particularly when the candidate has been a fireman for 10 years and couldn't pass his tests to advance in rank?

As to Nick Dunn and the leadership at the Kern County Fire Department, they were told that there was a video that Reed made using the "fire kids" he supervised in the summer. If they investigated they didn't take any action because Reed had his UNION protecting him. Wake up people. Where there's smoke there's fire, pun intended.

Shane Reed arrested again morning of 12/7/11 for more encounters with young boys while out on bail awaiting sentencing for his prior conviction. The judge who let him out on bail should be arressted too.

Maybe the guy is no stranger to sodomization so it's not big deal to him. He likes it, so all men must like it...I don't know what that man was thinking let that child molester out but he must be in cahoots with the Tehachapi council members and he's watching thier back, the males anyway
