Please don't let your daughter join this cheer team. I pulled her out months ago but now I want to write a review to save you and your child from the bad experience we went through. This place is really bad, where do I start? Well, first, the girls are clique like, you know, like mean girls, and my daughter was singled out by them. But most of all, the coach was nasty. All I wanted to do was volunteer, and coach jen was only nasty to me. She singled my daughter out too, she wouldn't let her fly, and she is small enough to do it. She told my daughter that she could fly, but after that pulled her out and made her stand out from the group and gave me a sly smile like a high school mean girl would do. She knew that my daughter wanted to do something different, I had told her about it. The coach is just like a high school mean girl. The coach made my daughter cry and by then we both had had enough of that crap. She also picked on my daughter and wouldn't leave her alone because she wasn't quite getting one part of the routine, she wasn't the only one but she was the only one to be picked on by this coach. There are many other instances of the coach being rude to me and my daughter, but about 5 months ago, we had had enough and quit. I just got around to writing the review.

I give this place an "unsatisfactory"
and a 0/5 stars.
and DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

In response to the person above who had a negative experience. I am so sorry! We have had nothing but a positive experience with coach Jen. We first met coach Jen almost 3 years ago when she coached both my son and daughter in hip hop. My son at the time was a very hyperactive ADHD 7 year old and she was fantastic with him (and it is rare to find someone with that amount of patience and caring)! My daughter also had a great experience. So this last fall my daughter joined Dazzler Cheer, and loves it!! My daughter does not go to school with any of the other girls, but didn't feel singled out in any way. She really loves Dazzler Cheer and coach Jen, and is very excited for the new studio location opening up and competition at Knott's Berry this March!!
Everyone I have come in contact with, in reference to this studio has only great things to say about it and Coach Jen! I highly recommend this studio to all of my friends and family!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

We have attended Dazzler Cheer ever since the doors opened and have loved it ever since!! My daughters have participated in other extra curricular activities and we weren't very satisfied!:( I was skeptical about putting them in cheer for fear of too much drama and so on. After the first practice, my daughters and I were sold!! My daughters and I look forward to every practice and have made alot of lifetime long friends!:) Coach Jen is THE BEST!!(Trophies to prove it) Haha!! She teaches not only cheerleading, but is a great role model to all of the cheerleaders and even some of us parents.:) Coach Jen is the most loving, caring person and has such a love for all of the cheerleaders and families!! She uses all of her resources very well and that is why she is so successful! She extends her love outside of Dazzler Cheer by using her connections and giving back to the community by fundraising, food drives, and so on! I am very satisfied with Dazzler Cheer and am happy to call everyone there family! I can't forget about Coach Lori (tumbling classes)!! She helps out in any way that she can and does a fabulous job!:) She gets a hold of the girls and gets them to do things they never thought they could do! She encourages them and gives them the confidence they need to pull whatever it is off! All of the girls grow in their cheerleading skills so much because of her skills! I recommend Dazzler Cheer to all of my family and friends and to you as well! Hope to see the Dazzler family grow even more!!:)

I had my daughter join this team because her old cheerleading group dissolved. We looked everywhere and made phone calls to find a new place to sign up with (with no luck). Finally, a neighbor alerted me to this group and we joined! from kindergarten thru high school, any child can enter their team. My daughter's health issues were even accommodated. I am so happy that i found a sport my child loves. I can even count the time spent in practices as P.E hours for my daughter's school documentation. The coach is very friendly and impartial. no cliques. Everyone works together without anonymity. The coach does her best to keep rates down and help make it affordable and fun. I have been impressed with the amount of professionalism they promote. My daughter went from T-shirt "uniforms" in her prior cheer group to professional ones in this group. This has been a very beneficial experience for my child. She wants to go back for more.

They say one bad apple spoils the bunch but in your case ms. Malavele, I thank god you removed yourself.!!!! Coach Jen is an awesome woman with a win attitude ( ugh the trophy in the studio speaks for themselves ms. Malavele..) I personally went looking for coach Jen after pulling my girls from a team I knew had not chance of winning up against the dazzler... my daughters absolutely love her. I respect her for everything she gives to those girls... When sitting in on practice, I see the confidence these girls have, the love that they have for Coach Jen and the love we all have for her and her family... Ms. Malavele, if u have something ugly to say about someone, maybe you should keep it to yourself... Coach Jen, we love you... thank you so much for being what my girls need and what I need to assist me with building there confidence and self esteem... You totally rock!!!!!!!!! God bless..

I know Coach Jen for about 4 years, and I have seen a positive and welcoming actutid towards ALL girls, and their moms. Every girl is different, and the coach always need to focus in getting their attention to do a routine, and prepare them well enough for competitions!!! Proof of this actitud are the countless trophies we had were Dazzler Cheer have been Champions in different nominations!!! I have been voluntering for the girls, and their actitud towards another is great!! They are teammates, and they have fun with each other... We, can only wish the best for Dazzler Cheer and knowing that all the Dazzler Cheer families are with Coach Jen.

To respond to the "trophies" that they have, the only reason they have so many is because at competitions they are in their own category, by themselves. I heard this from one of the other moms. And i agree with mrs. Malavele up there, jen DOES act like an immature high school mean girl. For example, my daughter was sick for a couple of practices and we got a snotty call from jen and she proceeded to tell me that she gave my daughter's spot in the routine away! We still have a long time before the competition, and if jen didnt change the routine all the time and confuse the girls, maybe they would do better at competition!! I mean, its not like we didnt come for two months, it was two practices! Its her fault for being indecisive about the routine! And she usually changes the routine RIGHT before competition, so the girls get even more confused. And the high school stunts are on a beginning level, she should put more interesting stunts in it instead of the same old thing! Please be warned by me, dont waste your time here! My girls are going to be out of this "cheer team" and will be enrolled in a REAL cheer team!

Just because they have a lot of trophies does not necessarily mean they are good. As i said above, they only win because they are in their own seperate category. They are no where near as good as other cheer teams of the same age. My daughters havent learned anything out of the time they have been here, and they have been in it for five months. Coach jen doesnt make the stunts or dances any better, she doesnt properly teach it, and they end up doing it wrong. And as i said, she is very snotty. Im not the only one to have experienced this. And the girls are cliquey, and certain girls get left out, and jen does nothing about it.

Well I have to agree with what was said about jen changing the routine too much. There are too many new girls that don't know the routine yet and we have THREE PRACTICES LEFT until competition!!! Ridiculous I must say! And Cheergirl98 I'm glad you aren't in it anymore so you don't get hurt! Jen is crazy...

I was actually with jen before she started dazzler cheer. At first it was great, well that was when it was smaller. Now, jen has been accepting WAY too many new girls, and i feel as if i dont get enough attention to strengthen my cheer abilities. I have no idea why, but jen suddenly called my mom one day to announce that "it wont be a good idea to let her go to competition" and its not like i suck, im not the among the worst. So anyway, jen is very controlling of the girls. I mean, she cant tell me i cant go to competition! I should be able to make that choice as i pay for the class!!!

DONT GO THERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND PUT DOWN!!!

Wow... Since so many parents dislike Dazzler and jen i wont even bother signing up my Lili there. She is a bit sensitive for seven. I dont want her getting scared or hurt. California Flyers sounds to be a better choice by far!

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Pisces

Your mind is razor sharp today, making it easy to reach decisions and put your thoughts into words. Make the most of this articulate and brainy phase, especially if that means taking part in a discussion or putting your ideas down on paper. If you need to defend your opinions you'll manage to do so without sounding aggressive or dictatorial.
