He should get life in prison so he can be accountable for the lives he has taken and may he find God and ask all the children for forgiveness.

I agree he should get life in prison. He has 6 children himself and this has been very hard on all of the family. For them to live with him being killed or the thought of him being killed is to much. He should be given pictures of all those whoes lives he affected so he can see their faces everyday. This should be his punishement.

i think he should be put to death. There is no reason for tax dollars to pay for him to live. The people he murdered didnt get the choice of life in prison, only death. He deserves the same.

Yes he has children too but he wasnt thinking of them when he made the choice to kill 2 people. It was simply premeditated murder. The world doesnt need someone like him in it and i dont want to pay for him to even breath the same air as steve and annies children, let alone mine. I think death is the only option

He obviously believes in the death penalty so I see no reason why the State should support him for the next 30-40 years that he will sit in prison rotting. However, I know what happens in prison and it won't be pretty for an ex-cop, ex-CO and murderer....

But there is a difference, he killed 2 people. No one is going to "kill" him. He would not be killed, he would be exterminated.

He killed 2 people for reasons of his own and was not thinking of his 6 kids. He should not be allowed to see pictures of his own kids let alone those of the people he killed! He murdered them and ripped thier kids' lives to shreads. No he should not be allowed to live. I also agree with who ever said that "he believes in the death penilty so he should be put to death"

he should be put down like a dog

For someone who is worried about children's lives being ripped to pieces seems to ignore the fact he has kids himself. As for those children's lives you seem to be so worried about Annette did a very fine job of that herself but doing drugs, getting them taken away from her time after time and being thrown in jail.
I am not excusing anything he has done just saying that she did a fine job of messing those kids lives up before he did what he did.
For the record, remember you can say what you need to say without being so nasty. HIS kids read these posts. Do you truly want to do more damage?..just to prove a point?
As for death penalty..where did you get that he is for the death penalty?
To answer the question above in a different post...no the trial has not started yet. They are working on the case, bringing in evidence and getting witnesses...putting their p's and q's in order so he gets a fair trial that cannot be thrown out due to a mistrial.

He is obviously FOR the death penalty since he sentenced two others to it.

so your defence of him is that its ok that he murdered 2 people. its ok because annie did drugs and had problems too? Seriously?

As a side note, either his children shouldnt be reading these posts (but not my kids so whatever) or that people should sugar coat the truth.

they are gonna hear this for the rest of their lives anyway because of choices he made. HE is the one that should have thought more about HIS kids, not me. I have never met nor seen any of his kids that i know of. Steve and annies kids i have met and i do know. How do you think their kids feel when reading these posts that blame steve and annie. I imagine no worse that than marvins kids when people state the truth. He killed 2 people in cold blood when there were children in the home. So quick let me feel sorry for poor poor marvin who had a gun and condim the 2 people that were trying to get their lives straight but didnt get a chance. Yes it all makes sense now. He is the good guy here. Lmfao! You are crazy if you believe that. Either way he planned and executed the murder of 2 people. They didnt get a trial or an option of life in prison did they?

I never said in any of my posts that what he did was okay.

I never said that he was justified either.

It was mentioned that he ripped her kids lives apart and I pointed out that she did a find job of that herself. If you believe I am okaying what he did then you are the one that is crazy and lacking comprehension skills.

As for his kids, they are for the most part adults but saying hateful things does not make it any less painful. Plus, it does not help Annette's and Steve's kids either. I find it interesting and baffling that people cannot seem to remember there are children on both sides that are affected by this travisty and that when I say they should ALL be thought of idiots seem to think I am wrong that his kids do not matter, only hers. This is stupidity and a lack of thinking on the part of those who feel that way.

I firmly believe you can believe what you want, say what you need to say but not be hateful about it, simply for the sake of the innocent ones, the children.

For example: Do I believe he was wrong? HELL YES! He should never have caused harm to anyone else.

Do I believe he should get the death penelty? No, not because he is the father of my children but because I believe he will have a harder time of things if he is forced to sit and think about things. If he is forced to think about all the things he is missing and he will never get to share with his kids and grandkids....his punishment should be he has to see their faces, all of them and remember every day that he caused harm to all of those kids..everyone of them. Killing will not bring anyone back. It will not solve what he did or change things. But if we want a punishment that fits the crime then...reliving what he did every day for the rest of his life till he grows old and passes in prision should be his punishment.

See, I can voice my thoughts and not be hateful.

Do I like him? HELL NO! but....I can and have voiced to my children what I was thinking and did not once become hateful about things. There are ways that as a mature responsible adult you can say things and then there is the immature way to say things that I have seen on here....I suggest that many people need to learn to grow up and learn how to speak like an adult.

Ok, I know this person. We grew up together. I've read your posts and while you all have an opinion on what should be done, well you have your right.

I spent a very good portion of my life with this person and his family. I introduced him to his wife.

I am not here to say that what happened was ok, it was flat out wrong. However, I will say that from my perspective, it wasn't premeditated. There is a back story: from my understanding he got the girl pregnant. She had the baby and Marvin and his wife were doing most, if not all, of the upbringing.

The mom-person made a statement about putting the kid up for adoption, which would prevent Marvin from 'his' child. He is VERY protective of his kids, as we all should be. However, I think this adoption was being considered out of some kind of spite or animosity.

Problem 1: Marvin is a trained police office and should NOT have taken a weapon ~ this is where premeditate could/probably will come in. I don't what his state of mind was, but I'm sure if you were presented with the similar situation, you wouldn't be happy either.

He should not have taken a gun. Period. The rest, well it happened. I'm sorry for the family of the mom-person; no one should have to bury a child.

I'm sorry that I have lost a best friend. We spent school time together, summers fishing and camping and we both had basic training in the Army at the same place.

I know him, or at least knew him. So please, while you spend time bashing someone that you have now idea who he/she is or their life or even the situation, take moment and think how you might feel if this little gossip site talked about you.

Again, I strongly agree that he will most likely be tried and convicted of first-degree murder and I'm very sorry for the lost of parents of the child, could you please go find some good to do in the world to make you feel better about yourselves and let the courts decide this.

Thank you.
