I think it is better not to comment on anything about someone who has passed away. Just remember her family and kids. Peace be to her family and her friends.

You are dead wrong and ought to be ashamed of yourself! If you were any sort of decent human being you would apologise to Jamies family and her two small children!

Jamie and many other young people in our community have fallen in the the arms of drugs. I don't condem them, it is so easy to do and very very easy to do in the area. Clearly the law enforcent and commonweath attorny are not doing what they should be doing. Yes these young people made the decession to go the wrong direction but I blame them only partly. I hope the Sherffs office and CA office will get with the plan and take the drug dealers off the streets and do something with these so called clinics and counselors who are also pumping the drugs into our communty. I pray for Gods blessing and guidance upon these familys and for Jamies at this time and for those left to care of these small child.

I don't know this Jamie woman, but I just wanted to say "sorry" to her family and friends for their loss. I had a cousin pass away (I'll leave the details out of it, because it's nobody's business but the family's business) about 2 years ago. I know how much it truly hurts to lose those who are closest to you.

And another thing, a simple "I'm sorry for her family and friends" is better than bringing up theories of how the person died. It's disgraceful and cruel to talk bad about the death of someone, even if it's true. People make mistakes and bad choices, we're human, but don't slander someone's name by telling everyone the reason she passed. How would anybody on here feel if people were talking negative about somebody you cared deeply about and whom you were close to on a public forum for everybody to read?

I send lots of love and warmest wishes and blessings to this young woman's family and friends.

Blessed Be

Just want you to know that this bulldog's heart goes out to the family-- especially those two precious children. It's very hard on children to lose a parent--I know from personal experience. The family is in my prayers.

don't you look at the track record for the present CA and the previous Sheriff and tell me that they haven't been busy. It takes more than them to clean up-people have to help, too. And people have to take responsibility for their actions and want to clean up. If I see something that looks suspicious, I call the authorities. It may or may not be a drug deal, but if it is, and they find them, then I've helped. If it isn't, then so be it. You can't blame it on law enforcement. I personally think that they have done a good job lately of cleaning up. Give credit where credit is due.

OK, let us give credit where credit is due.--------- Oh, there is none. Hieatt has not been in office long enought to discredit him, so lets give him a chance. As of the CA, yes you see all the names in the paper, mostly poor fools who have addiction problems and you can read the court records and see how the court carries and carries the cases for years sometimes. All this does is keep a lot of assistance CA's and probation offices in a meaningless job. I know drug dealers who have been reported for years and are still selling and destroying lives. I will have to just wait, and hopefully will be able to give some credit sometime. Tazewell needs another Bufford Pusser (Walking Tall)and the hand of God.

Jamie was a lovely lady, period. For those who truly knew her, my condolences. To those who didnt and want to sit on the internet and gossip and lie, go to hell. Noone has any idea what the heck happened in HER HOME that morning, so do NOT sit there on your judgemental throne and assume it is a drug overdose. Jamie has had a heart issue for years, at least ten, and it had nothing to do with dope. IF it was related, then so be it. The sad fact remains that two children have lost their mother, and her mom has lost a daughter, brothers lost a sister, and we've lost a friend. STOP the hate, STOP the gossip, and, for cryin' out loud, GET A LIFE!

Jamie was a sweet, loving, caring person. She made her mistakes in the past, but who doesn't? But, I can guarantee you, that when it came to her kids, Jamie was a loving mother. Maybe some of the choices she made in her life may not have always ben the best choices, but I can guarantee, that none of you, who have posted bad things about her on this forum, is perfect and sits upon a pedalstool. If you didn't like Jamie, then why waste your time even commenting on her? Let her rest in peace! Judge her if you must, but ask yourselves one question, What the hell, has her kids done to any of you? By talking about their mother and disgracing her on here, is only going to hurt her kids now. They have been through enough already, so help this kids start to heal, by dropping this topic about their mom. One day, they may see this, and they will be hurt by it all.

I dont know this family but i send my sympathy out to them. Drugs are taking over this country and right here in our little comunity. It hits all homes. My niece has struggled for years. She has 2 children. Once a person gets hooked, it is hard to overcome the addiction. Family and friends need to watch for signs of addition and seek help. Drugs will affect other parts of the body. The heart is one of them that drugs affect. This should be a wakeup call for us all. May God give peace to this family.
