They are doing that for security reasons. After the school shooting a few weeks back in Conneticut they have increased security measures to try and make sure nothing like that happens here.

I think the parents are giving the public school system (which is paid for by you guys)too much control over your kids. First, if it was my kid, I would tell them, that if I can't make sure my kid is completely safe and where he or she needs to be before I leave them, then I wouldn't be leaving them. If parents stand up they would have more rights in regards to their own children. I don't understand folks who don't put themselves as head of their own children and let someone else tell you what to do. I understand if there are parents that are lollygagging about and not leaving after dropping off the kiddos, that they would have to drop the kid off and walk straight back out the door. By the time the bell to call order rings (or however they do it now) all parents should be on their way out the door and not talking to staff and each other in the halls. If the school can't manage that by taking away the parents right to see their child to their destination, then they need to be replaced. It's easy, instruct staff not to engage in frivolous conversations with the parents, and let parents know that as soon as the child is in his or her classroom or lunch room, wherever, that they need to walk back out the door. Instruct the parents that parents cannot loiter in the halls or on school grounds. Simple.

i really think it would be best for you your child and our community if you would consider home schooling your child.

if you would put the brats on the school bus where they should be, you would save gas money, emit less pollution and be the [email protected] out of the way for those of us going to and from work. studies have shown they are less likely to be involved in an accident if on a school bus than thousands of individual vehicles scampering around. parents chauffeuring these spoiled brats everywhere just adds to their helpless and dysfunctional upbringings. S-P-O-I-L-E-D !!

You should come to Springdale tommorrow around 2:55 and explain this to all the parents waiting in line. Bring Fact with you to help explain how stupid they all are. I'll come too, I would like to see a 2 vs. 100 ass kicking. After that, go visit TNT, SMS, High School and Midway. Maybe next week you can go across the river and straighten that bunch of SPOILED brat raising idiots out.

I haven't walked my kids into school since the 2nd week of my youngest child's Kindergarten year, but I do drive my kids to and from school everyday. Why should my child catch the bus almost an hour and a half before school starts or still be on the bus over an hour after school is over? Plus, I enjoy that extra time with my kids. Don't call my children spoiled because you are too f**king lazy to go the extra mile for your kid. If you think being a car rider creates brats, then you are delusional.

The only reason I walked my child in for breakfast is because of the rude cafeteria staff. That scream at your kid if they make a mess that they accidentally. I'm fine with dropping my child off but 2 things. The first time I hear my child say she "screamed" at me for spilling my milk I will be on their azz. That lucn room needs security. If they don't want to be there that early stay home!!!! Do you realize how they talk to your child when you're not there???? I've been there and heard it!!!! Another thing the ppl they have at the back door isn't meeting and greeting your child. They are sitting in chairs with not a smile on their face. Some of these kids are K and they need to see smiling faces if they are going to be dropped off with them. Like I said I'm all for my child being safe, but do something abt the traffic. I sat in line 30 minutes and was 10 min late for work.

Parents spoiling their children make brats. 9 in 10 children are spoiled, lazy f**king brats with no etiquette, manners or common sense. Yours are probably nos. 6 and 7. Wait on them hand and foot and give them everything they want, haul them to McDonalds and Walmart upon THEIR DEMAND.

I'll point out that in NONE of the school attacts anywhere in this NATION, were parents present at the schools. All the attacks have happened after the start of classes. In all the attacks, it was students for whatever thier reasons or local deranged adults.I can honestly say that far more parents, would attack a gunman, than would teachers and staff. Example the school nurse at Sandy Hook, who on CNN nation wide said she HID under her desk till it was over. I'm not going to hide under a desk and think most parents would be galvanized to action in a moment.I'm sure some teachers would try, but remember they are speadout in seperate classrooms and our children aren't thier own. At Sandy Hook the shooter shot the lock after school started and entered the building. For far less money and time, armored plates could be installed on all the doors, making them more secure against pistol rounds as happened at SANDY HOOK. Our children are still taken out to recess and entire class or more at a time are they secure at that time? In the cases of Springdale school, the gym is a seperate building and children have to leave the main building and walk to the gym, again are they secure at that time? There are far more safety issues created with this new policy than they pretend to solve. At Sprindale, parents are lined up for a quarter mile in both directions on a busy fourlane hwy, one accident and countless could be injured or killed. I'm sure there are issues at MIDWAY, with the very small parking lot and narrow road. The greatest thing all our SCHOOL SYSTEMS could do would be ban together with all thier unions to lobby theier STSATE and FEDERAL GOVT. demanding that previous mental health laws be brought back immediately, to treat the mentally ill who refuse to get help as well as the ones who refuse to stay on thier medication. We were all taught there's safety in numbers, parents dropping off and picking up thier children, endanger none!We are Adults here, let's all use common sense as well as our school board, for the greater good of our children. Snipeing each other solves nothing here or at the school board and would only serve to teach our children it's OK to bully anyone you disagree with or dislike for any reason.

You will have to raise nos. 6 and 7's children when they hatch 'me, but don't have enough sense or responsibility to do anything cause mommy held their hand all the way to home room and sheltered them from reality.
