Helps save children of Republican parents from their own families, so they won't grow up to become narrow minded Republicans with no concept of what being a responsible and caring American really means.

"for kids that doesn't know how" ... maybe it should be for posters that don't know basic grammar that they should have learned in elementary school. Second poster on this topic that didn't learn 5th grade basic grammar. The schools in this area must be simply atrocious.

Not everyone in this area is a slobbering, uneducated mouth-breathing dolt. Topix just seems to attract an inordinate amount of them.

What is it about the "second poster" comment that bothers you?
I was the second poster. I was replying to the first posters question.
Please enlighten me.

No...kingswood is extrimly awful place for children to go. It used to be a good place about 3 yeras ago...but when they changed the person who runs it it became very abusive to choldren. The lady who runs it now hates children and she has even allowd a man who molested the kid to continue to work there. Dont send your kid there...not until they get new management at least

that place is bad. they make the kids take care of the household. cook clean yardwork ect. those kids do everything. scrubbing the bathroom with a toothbrush. i mean come on. they even clean up after the adults that live there. make them food breakfast lunch snacks and dinner... those adults do absolutly nothing besides gripe and complain. i would laugh my butt off if the kids went on strike and whoop the adults... 6 against 1... now that sounds pretty even

Kingswood is a wonderful school for children who are neglected by their parents. They either have no place for their children to live or have problems where they cannot appropriately care for them. These previous post are from a previous employee who was fired from the school and people who have had their children placed there because they could not provide for them or make them go to school.

Well they have a cook in the cafeteria who fixes the food. I have watched her cook and serve the children. I have also seen the food which is not out of date. They also provide nice clothing for the children and anything they need at no cost to them or the parents. Yes, the children do household chores which in my opinion doesn't hurt any child. They are also rewarded with trips to Dollywood, Smokies Baseball games, they have photography, karate classes and are given a weekly allowance for doing their chores. They do have chores and responsibilities which is what a good parent teaches their child. They teach them how to do the things they need to do as an adult. I don't see how that is a bad thing.

Well kids wouldn't have to be sent there. If moms and dads , put their foot down and learn how to say no. Kids can not tell you what they wanted to do. You the parent tell them what to do. If the child say he or she not wanna go to school , Ohhh you better drag their butts up and send them to the bus stop and wait to make sure get on that bus . Then later on call the school and make sure they are in the school building. My kids has no problem getting up and go to school. They know I mean business and I don't play around. I want my kids have a better and productive lives when they get older.
