I have a question

Duluth, GA

#1 Jan 3, 2013
I just moved here a couple of months ago and I need a good doctor. One for myself and my husband and one for my two children. Any recommendations? And by good, I'm not looking for one to breeze through passing out prescriptions. I do not take any meds and my husband only takes high blood pressure meds.
Any info is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Actually, my husband was in the military for 8 years. We both have family in the surrounding areas (Halls, Lutrel, and The other side of Pineville) I called the hospital to see about VA Outpatient Clinics, they said the only one they were aware of was in Johnson City. That's over 100 miles away, so we were trying to find someone closer to home--especially for our children. My husband has decided to go to the VA hospital in Murfreesboro and then he will get his BP meds in the mail. So now I just need one for myself and 2 children.
I have visited here every year for almost 10 years and there isn't much difference between here and several other places we've lived. Granted there isn't much to do within a few miles of here, but 45 minutes from my home is Knoxville. Most people around here have been very nice to us though and having grown up in the city (Louisville, KY) this place isn't bad. At least I am getting to know my neighbors and we bought a nice home. We're happy. I guess it's just nice to finally put roots down. I'm just happy for each day I wake up and have a great husband and two healthy, beautiful kids.
Thank you to the two post about Heartland Medical. I will give them a try. Again, thank you my new country neighbors

welcome to tazewell hope you like it here.i believe if you get to know your neighbors and local merchants they will be very helpful in getting you settled in our community.but asking for help on topix most times will get you attacked or made fun of.a lot of unhappy people use this site.but again welcome.
