i know some people there too and yes are good people, but also some lazy people and they need to do more drug test there half on meth or crack so those people never set down then good people in middle and at the end you have the ones that dont wont to do anything and when there beds are wet with urine then that aint good for what this places charges and the care seems to be halfstaff alot of the times..

Signature Healthcare of Spencer County has greatly improved in the last two years. The staff are wonderful and the residents are very well cared for, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Their last 2 years state surveys have been outstanding with the most recent being in March of 2009 in which they only recieved 4 minor citations!! Way to go Signature Healthcare of Spencer County!!!

My aunt was in this nursing home and recieved better nursing care than in the hospital in Louisville ky. They are kind, compassionate caregivers that provide excellent care to the resident and their families. Spencer County is very lucky to have Siganture Healthcare in their community.

As I understand it, there's too many people in the area that ain't got a legal permit for a resident to shit thru the floorboard of a car or truck which is required by law.

I don't understand Clydes comment. If anyone is considering placing a family member there, I suggest they call the facility for a tour. It will be a wonderful experience.

I think that the aides that work there are wonderful most of the time. But it's hard to take care of 25 people by yourself. And that is exactly what they have to do. The "nurses" they have there now would die if they broke a sweat. And if the patients have a family of big mouths, they will get much better care than the others. The ones that work hard and have been there a while are treated like trash. Look at who works there now...the good ones are gone.

Signature has changed over the years, some good some not.
The staff, for the most part does a good job taking care of the residents.
They do seem as if they are a bit understaffed at times.
Most of the people i have dealt with are upfront and pretty nice to deal with.
I have favorites and some not so much when it comes to my families care though.

I love how the negative comments have terrible grammar, and show the intelligence of those responding, maybe instead of bashing the "town" nursing home, you show get a job or atleast a GED, they have classes that can help you.
