Strange...I got the same impression when I took my animals there. Did not feel like they truelly cared about Me or my pets needs. Felt more like I was being judged or insulted...he keeps this attitude even outside of the clinic. Straight all out ass and so full of shit his breath stinks. I highly recommend Elk Creek Animal Hospital behind that BP station out there. Very professional and reasonable prices. Go out of their way to help you in anyway they can!

Very rude man with a strange sense of humor. I worked there for 2 days and decided that I didn't want to be a part of that clinic. Very unsanitary and treated the animals like they were nothing. Dogs with highly contagious and deadly diseases were in cages right beside healthy animals. I recommended Elk Creek Animal Hospital as well. I've never had a bad experience there.

I agree with everything above, and then some. This doctor is ridiculous. You walk through the door and your bill is automatically $300+. He got his license to practice in 1998 but you would not think it. Absolutely NO BEDSIDE MANNER. You may wonder why he won't let you go to the back while he takes blood samples, x-rays, etc.. There is a reason. For one, he does NOT know how to interact with your pet, for two, he does NOT know how to interact with you, and for three, the facility is DIRTY. Filthy. Unsanitary. No matter how much I stress it, it is not enough. Even to put my dog to sleep, he was not understanding, did not offer condolences, only went straight to the point to explain the additional cost to put him to sleep. Which, BTW, was $130 for a 33 lb. dog. Euthanasia prices vary by weight. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO SEE THIS VET. You will pay money for NOTHING. He will pretend like whatever is wrong with your dog is something he has "never seen before". He will not call to follow up on your appointment. He will not remember making your appointment. He is truly unprofessional, unseasoned, and downright does not understand the relationship between owner and pet. No one with this lack of understanding should practice veterinary medicine. I could go ON AND ON.

I have been trying to get the Magnet to do a story on this Jerk and his staff. His son Nicolas now works there, He was arrested in Floyd Co. IN. last November and charged with assault and robbery, he and his buddy beat the shit out of some guy and robbed him. That’s a class B felony. But I'm sure his daddy has plenty of money to get him out of it? He should have plenty of money, for what he charges for his services? It's hard to call what he does service, everyone I know who has taken their pets there have told me the same thing, he talks down to them, and then proceeds to over charge them for un-needed procedures. He has done nothing but take the practice that Dr. Dill built for all those years, and run it into the ground, all at the expense and exploitation of the good people of Taylorsville. He continues to use Roy Brewer even after his death, he should at least take his picture off their web site, he only kept Roy so people would still relate the clinic with Dr, Dill because Roy worked with Dr. Dill all those years. If he is such a great vet why doesn’t he practice out in Prospect where he lives? This guy is an all-around Jerk in and out of the clinic, and I too think something shady is going on there?? And I agree with all the other posters above, I will be taking my pets to Elk Creek.

My Kitty is doing well now, might need a check up soon.

Maybe that's what you need, take your kitty in for a check up, then you would stop this bad talk about my Kitty Doctor !

Since you brought it up, my Kitty did smell a little bad, it took a horse shot to cure the smell problem, but Kitty is doing fine now, I just put a little power on Kitty if you want to come by and sniff.
I mix my own chemicals, thank you Resident.

There seems to be a pattern here... Have never heard anything good about any of the low lifes that work at the clinic?? I still think there's something shady going on there? Any Thoughts people??

Just another example of an unsatisfied customer at the hands of the scumbags at the vet clinic. Lucky she's still alive, poor kitty. Curious, was it settled at the same price as stated before the “surgery”?

I've heard that the vet may actually be letting his technicians do surgeries? Very unprofessional, and very risky to our pets. I realize you have to learn somehow, but shouldn't they have some training first? I think there are schools for that?? Or I guess they can just experiment on our pets?? What a joke this vet and his staff are, please think twice about taking your pets there, please ask questions before hand, make sure the vet is actually the one caring for your pet, hold him responsible for what happens while your pet is in his care. Just saying, you’re paying for professional care, you should get professional care.
