While I appreciate the safety feature of the police at the intersection of Clay Ridge and US 27 during construction and the hauling of dirt, I am concerned over the effects of the bright flashing lights that obscure vision when pulling onto US 27 North. The patrol car is parked within the line of vision and the lights make it even worse. Also some of the patrolmen/women have been very aggressive to the point of coming up to your car to wave you onto US 27 N. We who live here, know of the many accidents at this poorly prepared intersection and WE TAKE OUR TIME when ensuring the way is clear. One overly aggressive patrolman wanted me to pull out in on-coming traffic. I do resent that as I'm the driver and will decide when it is safe to proceed.
